Very nice , I was guessing a lot how it was going to turn out , the shapes give it a very nice look and the colours you chose were fantastic , this is the refresher I needed , I did a local course some years ago but dropped off painting , I’m back and feel like I’m starting all over sometimes , it’s nice just to be painting again though , thanks for a fab tutorial and sharing your knowledge.🙏

Amazing, so totally different from the way i paint, but so totally how i would like to paint. I know it is a lot to ask, Mike, but it would be so cool, after we are done the 5 day challenge, if you could take one off the "exercises" from the challenge, and show us how you would take it to a completed "painting". Thank you so much for sharing with us!

Wonderful!!!! How do you mount the board/canvas? I am 100% watercolor today but your art and videos have inspired me to give acrylic a go!

Thank you for reminding me to use retarder, which will be especially helpful on the 54x90” canvas I am currently working on. I also use the black gesso to draw in my shapes. I wonder if you could comment on linking the darks for powerful under painting? Patches or patterns of black initially? Lay in all the darks and then fill those in with lower key shapes? Did I get that right?

Another very interesting demo. I can see that by limiting your time, it curbs the habit of adding too much detail and being ambiguous.

I just use colours I like.

I see Mike chose complementary colours ( yellow and purple)...one (yellow) is a "weak" hue and the other is a "strong' hue, which means it makes a very dark dark.

I'm enjoying this exercise and I rarely see people painting goats on KZfaq. I would really appreciate if you didn't say the "black" goat was the "bad" goat and the "white" is the "good" goat. I'm guessing that you didn't mean anything by it, but language is thought and you are an influencer. Thank you.
