It's amazing how LED's that only appeared in any quantity around 15 years ago, have opened up a whole range of new possibilities in lighting, that were impossible before then. 😊👍 .

Could you explain...when you were pouring the blue resin in the hands, did you have the hands propped up against something in the back of them? Also when you poured the hot glue on top of the hands and then removed it was this to just keep the hands together? I love the hands. Your work is fabulous so unique.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😍

Plaster and silicone mold stuff i can’t remember the exact name but it’s pretty much like the resin mixture it has 2 parts that you mix together and then you put your hands in it to make the mold then when it’s hard you put the plaster in

You can use alginate and plaster to form the hands, and then he just used wood oils for a seal to make them look nice

The only issue I have is if one of them bulbs go out you can’t exactly replace it

Then you remake the Whole version again. But being in apoxy it’ll be hard for dust and wear and tear to make a bulb go out. Those are simple $10/$20 dollar battery powered LED’S so it wouldn’t cost that much to replace or remake. I think it’s worth it to have a unique looking Lamp to make your space feel more futuristic !!

OK I’m a Philistine. All I kept thinking was what happens to the lamp when the fairy lights give out. I would have liked them a lot better if they were able to take proper light bulbs. I mean he is obviously talented so why not create lamps that don’t have a built in obsolescence created by using fairy lights.

I loved how all of them turned out but I hate wasting art supplies. They aren’t cheap. So at about 41 min when you did the dolphin one and threw a ton of blue mica powder in so it spilled over and all I just cringed.
