Relative of mine cut her toe off mowing the yard. Cut a big portion of her foot. She walks ok now. Near our town a car slammed into back of a parked semi with full trees cut laying in the back. The lumber went through windshield completely and out the back. Killed all 3 instantly. A friends daughter had a bird poop on her head. Her daughter was around 9. She spent couple months in the hospital with a severe deadly infection from the poop. My brother at 12 years old jumped into the pool at new house my parents just bought. Water wasn't super clean yet. Jumped in and right back out. He got bacterial meningitis which is more deadly than viral kind. Spent 3 months in the hospital. He was born with spina bifida but thankfully his spine formed fully. But hole was closed with thin skin. They think that's how infection got in his spine. Told us he wouldn't survive that if he did he would be a vegetable. Miracle he survived with no problems. He used to say he saw angels coming through the ceiling in the hospital. It actually scared me though. The way he acted saying it. He's now 39 and in the air force with two kids.

Why TF was she behind a wheel if she has a disability that causes this type of sh*t!? Beyond wrong. She should have been held responsible. And to never be able to drive again. Wow.
@Fluffy-FluffyАй бұрын
Exactly. But people with disabilities jump up and down saying a disability doesn't mean you can't drive. Well if apparently family lists is as the cause of the accident then yes, it means it isn't safe to drive. It shouldn't be taken as a personal attack. I have some medical issues, have meds and I know better than tk drive. I don't feel attacked whatsoever. It all depends on what the issue is and as said if they knew this could be dangerous

So you want to kick us while we're down? Put yourself in a disabled person's shoes and maybe you'd understand that life isn't fair, and those of us who are allowed to drive have proven capable. Healthy people can also have road accidents and even medical emergencies all the same.
@chrissywales6575Ай бұрын
People with a variety of medical conditions cannot drive in the UK, epilepsy being the main one, although I think that if the fits are under control and you haven't had one for a number of years, then you may be able to get a driving license. It depends on how you may or may not be a danger to yourself and others. My daughter had brain surgery aged 8 and has been fine ever since, yet she still had to fight to be allowed a driving license. Many people have "medical conditions". You cannot put a blanket ban on everyone.

In regards to the bridge collapse, did nobody notice the explosion on the bridge, just to the left of the pillar that was struck, a split second before the ship hit it?

That's crazy because my blow dryer does have an automatic shut off system and it's a regular blow dryer from the store. That sucks and it's unfortunate for her.

The utility teacher one, at my school 2 or 3 years ago something like that happen. But no one was killed, only 4 injured and I wasn't injured but it was time to go home and I went to my bus and the pole was falling over as soon as i got in the bus, my bus driver pulled me in quickly and backed away, I almost got hurt. For us, it was a utility truck that accidentally backed into a pole and only 2 poles fell and no teacher was hurt just 1 elementary student, 2 middle schoolers, and 1 high schooler.

I’m surprised a doctor did that.. he must’ve been a new doctor.. because at some point in his career, he would’ve had to have someone come in with injuries from something so stupid. Usually at least I believed, they’d know better than to go to an edge of a cliff off the trail for a selfie. Well.. now I know..

The Baltimore Bridge incident was deliberate. The captain probably knew about the defects on his ship. If you watch the video, you can see the engines restart seconds before impacting the bridge. But you'd still be able to steer the ship so it can go under the bridge even if you lost engine power, so 100% fault on the captain, and the ship shouldn't've left dock

for the first one, Niamh is pronounced ‘Neev’. it’s a name of irish origin. rest in peace these beautiful girls what an absolute tragedy.

Person I know had two girls named Niamh in her class. Only one was called Neev, the other was as pronounced here. It's disconcerting , like the time I met someone who introduced herself as Tcheryl.

Dude beheaded the poor woman and only got 15 years in jail. What is wrong with this world? I say you rob someone of the chance to live the rest of their lives then you deserve to have that right taken away from you too. It should have been life in prison.
