As far as her having a Coca Cola machine brought onto the set of Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte, that was after Joan Crawford had brought Pepsi to the set because her husband was a Pepsi executive. Bette was an associate producer on Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte.

These actors had troubled lives and were human. What I heard here, does not indicate "evil" to me. Evil is something that has no morals or does not have any desire for doing right. I do not think that these people can be described as that. Where did this list come from??

However, kudos to her for admitting that women couldn't have a cateer and be a present and effective mother and that it wasn't fair air to children for the mother to pursue a career. She was a stanch feminist. But, she was very honest. When the children aren't the main focus of a mother, they suffer. And I furthermore credit her for staying away from the funeral of Spencer Tracy. She was Absolutely correct in her admission that his wife and children deserved their place of prominence at his funeral. For her to show up would have been classless and cruel. That is the difference between today and yesteryear. The progressives of 40 years ago had class and told the truth whether it was popular or not. I wouldnt call most of these actors "evil". As an actor gets more known and in demand, yes they do earn the right to be demanding. Look at Taylor. She did NOT want to do Cleopatra. She thought that depicting a 16 year old girl was rediculous. So she playfully said "tell them ill do it for a million dollars" not thinking theyd accept. That was a rediculous amount of money for doing one film. Esp a woman. Well they did accept and so she did it. By the time the movie was finished, she got 7 million out of the deal.

Henry's wives at least two of them cheated on him. And the mental health problems of Margaret Sullavan and Frances Fonda were not his fault. I read his biography and let me tell you all those people criticizing him aren't that nice either.

I used to talk with Margaret O'Brien. She said that, on the set of "Bad Bascombe" when she was a child, Wallace Beery used to pinch her really hard, regardless of how many times he was asked to stop. There's teasing and then there's mean abuse. He perpetrated the latter. I used to have some personal photos taken on the set of the movie, but I sold them on eBay years ago.

OK, is there a different standard for "evil" among classic actors? You have a list of people who seem strong and focused on their careers. For that, you have labeled them evil. Instead of putting people who have killed people or committed SA or worse. Those people aren't on the list, but by all means, we should include those who weren't very nice.

Being unfaithful in relationships was SOP. The rarities are actors who stay faithful. The system was brutal, the life stressful, and not until the Me, Too movement did men in Hollywood get called out for using and abusing women. And that was in This Century!

Evil is obviously not appropriate for most of these people, but it’s why I foolishly watched this. Misleading videos like this will make me reluctant to watch this channel, lack of credibility.

Here, Jimmy Stewart is described as a War Hero, a famous star who had to struggle to be allowed to put his life on the line flying bombing missions over Germany, when he could have sat safe and sound on a training airbase in America. It does not mention any evil he did, unless fighting against the Nazis was evil. It also does not mention that after winning the Oscar for best actor in March of 1941, he joined the army only one month later, seven months before the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor which brought America into WW II. His studio went crazy angry over Stewart putting his film career on hold right after the Oscar. He didn't care.

And Joan Crawford was similarly reassessed after daughter Christina Crawford's accusations of alleged abuse. BTW, I see misspelled names for at least six of those actors in the segment breaks: Wallace Berry, Fay Dunaway, Betty Davis, Orson Wells, Jean Kelly, and Milton Burl

I think that using the evil word in the title is vastly deceptive and should instead be renamed as complex and ambiguous, but evil gets the clicks. Most likely, calling this Hollywood actors uncovered is more apt. I'm sure my comment will simply be overlooked or outright ignored, but to those reading, I hope it inspires others a moment of contemplation.

I don't know if I'd call these people evil. Yes, there are some narcissistic a-holes on this list but calling them evil is too much of a stretch. They're just people who work in a ruthless industry. The heads of the studio and producers, however, are more evil then a lot of these actors are.

I heard a lot of horrible actions about Faye Dunaway, and this showed things i didnt hear about before! I read where on a plane she was very rude to someone on that plane and stating " Do you know who i am?!" Like she was above anyone else. Came back to add, Orson Welles degraded and treated one of my favorite horror actresses, Ingrid Pitt like trash when she turned down his advances.

My vote would go to Lupe Velez who would make these people seem "nice" in comparison. She apparently physically abused her lovers, stabbing one of them and threatening another with a gun...and much more.

I read a biography of Big Crosby "The Hollow Man" - good actor, good singer, truly horrible person. I've never cared for Sinatra - he was a bully. If he demanded some poor casino dealer break the rules and they refused - he had them fired; if they did what he wanted - they were fired for not following the rules. With bodyguards to ensure his safety from repercussions.

Look, they were "ACTORS"..that was their job. They weren't and aren't heros. They have no political voice. They are not required to be nice, smart, fair or anything else. They are required to do their job and do it well. Seems to me all 20 of these people fill the bill. Leave them alone and celebrate the actor and them acting in your favorite movies.

If you peel back the layers of any one of us, actor or not, you'll find something to call evil, especially in today's ultra-judgemental social setting. It's okay to not like something does without hating them for it. Not to mention evil is in the eye of the beholder. Cheating always seems to have been okay in Hollywood.
