Ha I don't actually as I use a Sustee & bottom-up watering method to not overwater my plants and good quality soil mix light and air 🍃

Looks cool! Is there a point to the sustee if I’ve already potted my plants in a bunch of your self-watering pots? I figured I could just check the water levels in their reservoirs

yes you are right but some people are time poor and even use one sustee to check if its blue or white and then use as a guide for all plants of similar watering

what about the different watering needs of each plants, ie. some prefer to dry out between waterings; some prefer to stay wet. TIA!

Your Sustee will turn white when the soil is at a very low moisture level. So for plants that you know like to really dry out between waterings (like cactus), you can leave the plant sitting with a white indicator and decide how long to wait before you water again! On the flip side, if you know one of your plant pals like to have wet feet than water as soon as you notice the indicator turn white
