Aew Fight Forever is proof that they say one thing but in the end they want another, the game is an old school classic that gets boring after a month, it was fun at the time

If they frequently updated the game and added things like match types. The game would've been better than 2k, AEW FIGHT FOREVER's gameplay is miles ahead of 2k. They just didn't even support the game at all.

Great video smackdown here comes the pain had a lot of great matches in Features than alot of Modern wrestling games will never have again like B&P match and many more back when wrestling games had more soul

Finishers oversold big time in HCTP. I'm glad that kind of oversell is gone.

Some of these changes are intended. They're trying to look more like show. Those over the top moves and explosions on cars and several other animations just don't happen in the show.

Hctp was definitely more arcade-like and seemed to look cooler, while 24 is more simulation-like. If only there was an option to have both in the same game.

@Matttheman7 The animations are ass like most of the finshers don't even look devastating. Like when Triple H hits the pedigree he's in the air for a bit, in 24 he comes straight down. 19 had the OG animation, which looked better they should've kept it. The RKO has been bad for like 10 years, and there is still no new RKO animation.

@youngcity4241 I agree that 24 isn't simulation, I just meant it seemed to be a bit more compared to the play style of hctp. Perhaps simulation wasn't necessarily the right word to use.

Instead of lumberjack u could have easily said "alot more gimmick match" because it also has 3 stage of hell bra and panties hardcore and more that i am probably forgetting
