I think the climbing gear shoud've had a buff at the fourth level that made you not slip as much in the rain

When you somehow get underneath the cyronis block and destroy it. It's seems so simple, but feels so painful

I actually like the dungeons. Sure, they're not as big or complex as the other games', but I still like them. I also think of the shrines sorta like "mini dungeons"

You hate that you can't play BOTW for the first time again and experience that sheer sense of aw you got when you first saw that beautiful map

I really wish you would get to keep the bow of light after beating the final boss as a reward for completing the game. I know it's OP but that would have made it all the more fun.

I think the memories should have been playable. You get the same effect: Link remembering his past, but you get to play through Hyrule before it was destroyed.

Rain is inconvenient yes, but it forces you to be creative in how you traverse an area, such as sticking to the path in Zora's Domain or entering from above to avoid climbing, or you can learn how to climb efficiently in the rain too mixing regular climbing with jumps to maximize distance

i love how little enemy variety there is, im not much of a gamer so this way i can actually memorize all of them and the attacks also the compendium is hard enough lol but im still excited for totk

He literally listed some of my favorite features! I always liked stamina and rain effects(and other things like that) because it made the game more realistic and immersive. However, I completely agree about the last one.

I don't like how enemies can just appear out of nowhere when you are just minding your own business, but I ESPECIALLY DESPISE SKELETAL MOBLINS

Nintendo has heard you! They didn't do dog petting until they saw this, and your threat to sue them. They are on it. They went back to the drawing board to make sure this is in the game. Release date is now changed to March 2024. You did it! (This was confirmed by my uncle who knows a custodian at the building next to Nintendo who share a dumpster area, and somehow saw the discarded notes about this....fact!)

Also you can just wear the thunder helm you get for completing all of the side quests at Gerudo to avoid being struck by lightning, however it’s very weak and you can’t upgrade it

2:18 that’s how it’s supposed to be! The best way to do those shrines is to throw your switch out the window! If you throw a perfect spiral the motion will finish the shrine

Damn, clocked me at 2. I love climbing so the rain restriction and stamina are AGONY

After I beat Ganon, I was expecting the game to end. I had no idea what to expect. I thought maybe I did something wrong, so I did it again. Then I wanted my four year old grandson to watch, he has been my biggest fan while playing this game. So, I beat Ganon three times in a row. It was fun:).

I disagree with point 3. I wish for a postgame because I want to see the result of my actions. I don’t expect the entire map to change as a result. But it would be cool seeing Zelda as a npc roaming around.

It definitely would take awhile for Hyrule castle to go back to normal, really tough to code. Meanwhile... Elden Ring says hold my beer with the capital city that totally doesn't get replaced with sand

"Rain"- The true villian in the game...

The worst is how long it takes for the thing to drip at towers and some shrines, and not being able to skip.

The motion control shrines have a good use. Which is really powerful glitches

I hate how low lvl mobs tend to pop up whenever I am busy fighting something bigger. Or how when I am about to do something like climb a mountain or attack a mob camp the game changes weather to rain or lightning. Its like, it knows...?

You didn't include the fact that the only way you can see Link with his hair down is with a slab of ancient technology on his head and no other method.

for number 11, if a new player is willing to fight or evade many guardians, sneak past might moblins and a white lynel, and even more guardians, i think they deserve max attack up

The breaking makes the game SO much better, as instead of using one weopon the whole game as soon as you get it, you need multiple weopons.

4 things Things I love about breath of the wild -The lack or dungeons, shrines offer a lot more than dungeons and there are dozens of ways to beat them because of that you could pick a lot of shrines and find multiple ways to beat it without doing it the intended way -Stamina Really Makes horses a lot more useful and makes you reconsider if you should jump over that gaping pit with your limited amount of stamina -Goats Lead to Clips of people raging so that's hilarious as is -The DLC Armour is op but fun most of the new players probably wouldn't even buy the dlc first because they haven't played the game so after they beat it they're probably gonna buy it then, which means exploring hyrule fully is a breeze since you can one hit enemies leading to less broken weapons and losing less time when you fight a lot of enemies this also offers up tons of replayablity since you could beat Ganon only after just getting your runes

Story and freedom are opposites in gaming. Breath of the wild sacrifices the story by minimizing the parts of it thr player goes through to give them absolute freedom, which is what the game is most praised for

I wish he could register any mount we wanted,or just be able to have more mount variety

I hate that we don't have a clawshot to ease traversal, or a shiekah blaster to give the guardians a taste of their own medicine. I hate that the ancient oven produces ancient arrows at a snails pace if you want a bunch. I have so many normal arrows, I just want to be able to one-shot more guardians.

I know you to pet the dogs. 1: make sure you dont have an equipped weapon 2: go near a dog and face it 3: act like your equipping a weapon. Link will make a little confused animation, and it kinda looks like he is petting the dog

tbh i think rain is inconvenient just because of how frequent it is, and the fact that until you get that custom teleport mark thing (i forgot what its called) you cant do much about it, mainly in areas where there is no way around it and you have to climb. if it wasnt raining every 10 minutes it would probably be much more enjoyable, as it would just be a "temporary challenge" zora's domain is probably the one exception, as its meant to be a "rain tutorial" of sorts, teaching you that electricity is bad near water and that you can barely climb when its raining also wtf is up with the devs, add the "pet dog" option already.

in hours of my botw gameplay, botw really feels like a prologue of totk. like, "hey guys, i wanna make a huge game rn. but seems like it will take years for it. so, lemme give you a bit of the game we are working on, then giving it a bit of story, and then while you spending time for exploring this prologue, we'll keep making game we want" maybe this is the reason why the map will re appear in totk, and the story in botw only flashbacks.

1:04 we'll most of the enemies are just normal animals :/ the enemies could just act the same, and they wouldn't have *needed* to have buildings get fixed and such, just dialogue changes and the castle is just run down without any malice/guardians

Imagine a thunder storm in death mountain: Because you cant use metal items in thunder storms, and in deayhy mountain you cant use wood items because they burn! Like only ancient gear is able!

Certainly a few frustrating features mentioned here... Climbing is slippery in the rain - it happens too often, I want to climb up somewhere and it comes on and rains! Although at least if it gets stormy, I can stow my metallic gear... though I don't always have something to replace it except my torch or leaf (but I don't use those for combat) Random encounter enemies, definitely an annoyance - especially chuchus or stalfos bursting out of the ground and interrupting me in the middle of hunting/gathering or trying to sneak up to something! Most of these other points seem to be centred on progressions I haven't met yet though...

The difficulty climbing in the rain feature just kinda makes sense because it’s not easy irl either, it also makes it so you have a harder time trying to climb the mountain behind Zora’s Domain basically forcing you to take the easier path on the other side of the area, and so the jungle area in the south can’t just be climbed all around. The enemies popping out was mostly to keep you on your toes. Idk 😂 To be fair with the Phantom Ganon armor, one is guarded by a lunes and the other two are in Guardian territory.

0:47 I honestly don't hate it, I just find it annoying how I have to beat the game in order to find this horse that has 4 stars in strength and speed and 5 in stamina. I can only ever find it after beating the game which is honestly annoying

hey @Sealios Spring I actually was the person who discovered how to pet the dog you crouch then use stasis while crouvh than you stand up the eventually the affection dots show up

I always hate how Bokoblin's scream at you after swinging their one handed weapons two times, as if they're better than you. Outta spite, I like to slap them once and/or whistle at them after spinning attacking or dodging their attacks.

As a dark souls veteran, I wish they had more power enemies than just lynels. Flurry rush + stasis makes it so easy.

I hate fighting silver monsters because they're just as dumb as the other monsters but you break seven of your favourite weapons just to get a bloody Lynel horn and a single weapon that will break in no time. It's just throwing weapons away

What you talking about, stamina only limits my charge attack. Climbing mountains however if you know how to abuse the geometry you can climb anything with 1 stamina wheel. (or whistle sprint that 93 degree angle wall)

The fact that you have to pay to get the OoT armor set is definitely the worst, followed by the goat headbutting you off a mountain and there's nothing you can do about it.

i hope the tutorial or something in totk is set in the future hyrule after botw but before the main events of totk. it would be cool to see all the stuff that changed after beating ganon

Maybe after beating Gannon hyrule castle is free of the malice, and malice as a total is gone, gaurdians still exist and so do other enemies but now guardians don’t respawn. It should seem like people are trying to rebuild, a rebuilding side quest, or multiple would have been fun.

Personally, I think the durability system was better designed than most people give it credit for. I can think of only two ways to improve it. One, make it clear how much durability a weapon has left, and two, make it so weapons drop materials after breaking that can be used to craft new weapons. The commonly suggested "Blacksmith" weapon repair system would destroy the purpose of the mechanic. I also don't "hate" the Divine Beasts. They're not perfect, but I enjoyed them enough. The Divine Beasts themselves don't hold a candle to traditional dungeons, but the idea of more open-ended dungeons shouldn't be thrown away. With a little refining, the Divine Beast formula could make some great dungeons, like the dungeon at the end of the Champion's Ballad DLC. Hyrule Castle was also an interesting take on the idea of dungeons, and it actually felt like a place where someone would live, and not just a labyrinth. Nor do I find the combat boring or repetitive. Even without weeks practicing glitches, there are many different ways to approach combat using the tools provided. Stealth, resource management and strategy all come into play many times in the game, and there are many different tools Link can make use of i.e. Magnesis, Bombs, Stasis, fire, lightning strikes, boulders. Basically, if combat is getting boring in Breath of the Wild, you're doing it wrong.

The guys at Bolson Construction or Terry Town residents need to help us rebuild Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom or I'm suing Nintendo.

The shrines aren't the dungeons. The Divine Beasts are. That was obvious when I did my first one. I don't want the shrines to be any longer when there are so many of them.

I hate that I can fight tough enemyes easly, but still getting a lot of hits from bokolins and moblins

I hate that cool looking tribal weapons are so weak. They should had added a damage boost to the tribal weapons if you use it while wearing the matching fully upgraded tribal outfit.

zora greaves should have had an ability where you don't slip while climbing makeing it have an ability

If it rains all you must do is climb and count to 3 the press x after you will slip but still gain little height

I got one more, and I think this is a big one. I hate how you can’t remap a pro controller. If you’ve been playing PlayStation for years, like myself, the location of the “A” button is circle on a PlayStation controller. Everybody that knows the basic layout for the PlayStation controller, circle is commonly back not X (B button). I am having a hell of a time getting these controls down and I am several hours in.

I think the worst thing about breath of wild is how bland and basic the npc’s are, there is not a single one that has an interesting story or personality, all of them just have the same simple dialogue and a stupid, uninteresting quest for a reward worth nothing.
