8:25 One nice easy to find alternative to gaffer tape is 3M No Residue Duct Tape. It's available at local home stores. That's my go-to and use it a lot. Works well longer term on surfaces too.

I made my own Trekpack system a few years ago from about $30 worth of craft materials from Michaels. The core of those is just coroplast sheets. I just glued foam sheets to the coroplast sheets and cut them into strips the depth of the case. Then you can just cut them to whatever length you need. I made pins to link them together out of coated aluminum clothesline wire. It works exactly the same as the Pelican system at a fraction of the cost.

I went this route as well, with a couple of additions: there's EVA foam with adhesive backing and after loads of research I ended up getting split pins to connect the pieces. A long metal ruler is also very useful to cut the sheets to size.

I have the Aputure MC light and am happy with it. I see some other items I would like to have. What I love about this video and your early looks at new products is, you get opinions from your friends. Sometimes they have a slightly different use or need and it is good to hear that angle. Also questions get asked and answered in the same video. Love the channel.

Thanks to you, I took a closer look at my situation with maybe having ADHD, and initially, finding out about having ADHD was quite challenging. Hi Gene. For the Aputure MC: if you have white selected in Sidus Link then on the bit that deals with temperature press "expand", you'll be able to drop it all the way down to 1500k

I always thought the tiny aperature lights were a little pricey. For the same cost of 1 light I picked up a couple nearly identical portable lights from some company called Soonpho, and although I can't speak to color accuracy I can say they are nearly identical in everyway except having magnets and come in under 40 bucks.

Aputure MC is great choice, highly recommended. Often times we wrap and fill the van at night, there's no light. Just magnet the MC's on the car and can pack accordingly.

16:17 100% agree with the Anker power bank. I plug into my A7iv to power it and some accessories and can shoot for 8 hours straight. Way better than spare batteries, which I always lose. Plus you can use it to top off you laptop or phone. AND with a 140W charger you can charge it to 100% in under an hour. Such a good power bank

I bought a big box of individual sized ketchup-style packets of sunscreen, and a similar box of bug repellent wipes. I keep a stack of each in my FPV bag. They work for me in an emergency if I forgot to slather up at home, but they are even better for sharing. You don't have to worry about your friends or people you have only just met licking your bottle of bug spray or drinking all your nice sunscreen. You can just throw them their own packet!

Dealbreaker for the mantispod is the propietary mounting connector and you have to use an allen key to fasten and remove the base plate from each of your cameras.

iFootage Anglerfish HL1 C4 RGBW handy light is a nice inexpensive light. It's got RGB, magnets, a cold shoe with a 1/4 20 control from an app with BT. $40

if you're in a pinch and need a blower for your lenses, you always can find a baby nasal aspirator in a drugstore or walmart. They are dirt cheap, and do basicaly the same function as the giottos rocket air blaster, they also suck air, so it can be useful

this is why I animate all my videos and don't require any camera gear. I don't even use real animation. I just use sticks and leaves that I find in the woods and put them in the positions that I want and then draw them with pencil on paper and scan those to create the video.

Instead of paying someone to film your wedding you should have 10 (gopro,360. osmo mobil...) and give them to your bridal party to film their point of view. And that way those brands will pay for your wedding.
