While I cannot figure why devs / game designers are so sloppy sometimes, I still find this intriguing. I remember a hidden chamber in the Dargnakh Instance with an NPC (a vendor I believe) behind it, and my kin and I wondered quite a while what that was supposed to be, was it an easter egg, or a joke, or a strange riddle...

So many useless assets floating around landscape and instances just to rise pointlessly our FPS.

This is not unusual in game development. For example, many times there will be assets stored hidden off screen that were used for different iterations of a particular section of a game. It would be nice if they went back in and cleaned things up afterward, but the tight deadlines on development of games means leftovers are almost always there.

You get to see the opening of Thorin's tomb in one of Black Book quests and the dwarves with Rohirrim shields use Zhelruka dwarf models. It's a clan of dwarves we first see with Ered Mithrin and Ironfold regions update iirc.

Yes to both your sentences. The dwarves are a bit mixed, but their models are the definitive version. It is their equipment that is of dubious origin.

And yea, dwarves in Rohan armour is both hilarious and confusing. I mean I highly doubt that the armour is a separate component that automatically scales to the height of the model, so someone actually made this manually...

Also! The bear cubs in the Wildwoods seem to have had their textures applied incorrectly and instead look quite horrifying. :-(

so thats why the game Lags so much. the game Engine has to calculate render all these even though they are not visible in game. Thats why it gets worse each content release..more useless structures not seen that the game engine has to calculate and render. Thats my theory anyways. Thank you for this very interesting video

Great video! Do you use some kind of reshade? Your game is so clorful and sharp

I use Reshade, mainly to sharpen the textures, with a bit of HDR effect (so a little bit darker shadows and brighter daylight). Saturation is overall unchanged, but both sharpening and HDR have some impact on colour strength.

Stupid question: is there anywhere an entrance to the Silent Street in MT? I got the directions to all other instances in-world entrances during the Epic except for this one.

The Silent Street actually has no portal for you to enter the instance, but the place is totally present both in pre-siege (but closed and normally unaccessible) and in post-siege (open and accessible).

This is a question I can not answer and being sure. If I recall right there should be a dedicated Epic Quest chapter that prompts you to run and complete, if you want, the instance. That is because the canon events of Gandalf and Peregrin with Denethor are happening inside the very instance.
