2 жыл бұрынFLOORFISH is a classical gate/expander unit that was originally designed to make acoustic drum recording much cleaner. Especially separately miked snares and toms often unveil a large amount of 'bleeding noise' if you compress them. The FLOORFISH can help to lower this noise floor. Unlike a typical 'noise gate', the signal is not cut off completely if you do not want it to.

20 years of age! But it still is 'fresh' after watching how it works! Being very old it tends to take up less computer resource. Modern one normally has real-time graphics that consumes loads of resource, but very good for visualisation and fine tune by 'seeing' what the feck is happening to an audio. No guessing. Excellent for people who are as poor as a church mouse to possess expensive headphones like me, and people whose hearing might be problematic like mine.

I still use it. And i use sony noise reduction plugin too in Acid pro. For me is one of the best

Hi Mauricio, Thanks for watching the video! Floorfish gives you the ability to tune to side-chain frequency, and because of this, it is best suited to instruments that don't generally change in pitch, and so it is ideally suited for drums and percussion, which are single pitch instruments. this would be PERFECT if the plugins weren't 32 bit :( can't use them with any vst host
