Marcus and Martinus the pearl takes on a star shaped shell (don't ask how cause IDK) but yes it is possible to Java star shaped pearls according to the Internet

Just an FYI, not all oysters mature at the same rate. If there arent any Pearl's then either it wasn't matured or it wasn't in the correct water conditions to produce pearls.
