3DMark: 1:03:05 (Ice Storm Extreme 1:03:47, Cloud Gate 1:06:02, Sky Diver 1:08:06, Fire Strike Ultra 1:11:27, Night Raid and Time Spy 1:14:22, Port Royal 1:18:56)
Most of the legacy 3DMark suites are free now, so I thought it would be fun to make a video showcasing all the demos at max settings, from 3DMark99 Max to the latest 3DMark edition (excluding game demo). Unfortunately I couldn't use 3440x1440 for Port Royal because it's too laggy for my 9900K+2080 Ti setup.
If you want to run these demos on your own PC as well, I suggest reading through these first because they aren't always compatible with Win 10:
99 Max: 95 Compatibility
2000: 98 Compatibility + SystemInfoMFC.dll mod
01SE: XP SP3
Vantage: Turn off MSAA for Jane Nash

After all these years I still think that the year 2000 had the best soundtrack of them all!

They made that with their heart and soul. Now, it's just so boring and I can't wait for the benchmarks to be done with.

3DMark2000 music hits hard, visually was awesome for its time as well, watching it as a kid on the first computer I build was very impressive, and very nostalgic seeing it again here!

Seeing that landscape at 12:46 when I was a kid blew my mind. Just noticed the bullet time in the Max payne demo in 2001 didnt render properly lol.

Amazing how 3D Mark has progressed over the years technically, but some of the early ones were still the best.

The early ones are giving me strong Demo Scene vibes. I wonder if they've been involved in it, and have some of their works uploaded onto here.

They were indeed! Remedy was formed by members of Future Crew, which you may recall as being responsible for the ground-breaking demo, Second Reality. (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n91hasZolduulac.html)

Some were also involved in AAA titles. Kim Salo was lead programer of the early 3dmark versions and games like Max Payne 1+2.

The 2000 version is so full of Final Reality vibes. BTW, 2000, 2001 and 2003 were most impressive for me and I mean watching these today. The newer versions are much more complex, of course, but I just can't say "breathtaking".

99 and 2000 were incredible, seeing what a Voodoo3 or TNT2 are really capable to do... amazing back then. 2001 was ok, I had a GF3 Ti200 128 MB, Nature demo was nice, but... not the amazing feeling that 99 and 2000 had. And from there it went downhill, 2003 and 2005 were actually quite ugly, a lot of shinny bump mapping.

Yeah, it was considered a fun game, but not much different from its predecessor. GTA III is when the series really started taking off and massively influencing the gaming landscape.

I disagree. If you meant the matrix lobby one, yes. The rest demos are top notch back in the days in their respective eras.
