Once they reached a more advanced age (50's, 60's), that was when I saw my father truly love my mother and remain faithful to her, especially when she had a degenerative bone disease in the left leg that left her disabled. I saw a couple where the wife has MS and the husband takes good care of her (she is wheelchair bound). They have two children, probably teenage or college age.
