The car just got delivered to me and I'm ready to take it for a spin. It's been 18 years since I last drove my Civic Si. It's amazing to be able to have something like this to enjoy once more.

Can’t wait for this. My first new car was a 2000 Celica gt-s 6 speed. My best friend in college had a black 99 si. We were going to NJIT studying engineering and everyone wanted an si or gts or ITR. I wanted anITR but they were constantly stolen in Newark. My buddy had a 98 civic stolen which was replaced by his 2000 si which was then stolen but recovered. We took our cars to englishtown to race on the weekends or Wednesday night when they had test and tune. I can’t wait for this build!!!! I don't drive it much. I haven't driven it since 2019 November. I've always wanted to just turn it into project car. Mine isn't stock as it runs a T3/T4 Turbo, its only at 5psi. Minor mods all around the car and it runs fine. I put some Nitto NT05's 205/50/15's on it last year. Replacing my Falken RT615's. I've been wanting to put some money into it maybe when I have more disposable income.

07wrxtr1 not a Biden fan but it’s well documented his cars are clean and awesome and he loves them like us. Politics can be mixed w cars but you are really reaching. Just get a car and enjoy it for u bud.

Those cars are awesome - one of the best looking Si models ever made. My brother owned a 2000 Si which strongly influenced my decision to buy a 2008 Si which I still own today. They are absolutely not the fastest cars, but the ability to rev to 8,000 is super fun, Idc what anyone says. High RPM Vtec sounds amazing. To get any other car that revs that high, you have to buy an exotic like a Ferrari or Lamborghini. (Obviously there's the S2000 but that's also Honda and has Vtec as well.) Extremely fun cars to drive

Awesome vid man. I’d just keep it, and then when my son is older, it’d be his first car.

Goes to show, Matt has obviously driven alot of fast cars and has the luxury of owning some beautiful examples. But the smile when VTEC hits is something people who haven't experienced it just don't get. 😂

I had an Electron Blue Pearl EM1 exactly like this back in the year 2000 along with a 1999 Milano Red Integra GS-R at the same time. I was straight out of high school and didn't even realize what I had at the time. Ended up selling them both for a WRX STi several years later.

Rev match down shift to help slow your pace so your not overly dependent on braking. Slowly expand you driving style to make you the star and not just the car. This car is awesome, plain and simple!
