An update on my ongoing motorcycle project: I added a new seat and got the bike AC's re-tuned. Can anyone recommend another?

I know this is an older video. But the truth is, these older Sportster's are just beautiful. Classic, timeless simplicity. I just love it.

Agreed, I have a '97 in Pearl Red, don't think I'll ever get rid of it. It is the first bike I owned.

Nothing wrong with an 883. Its only shortcoming is it starts to rev out at 80mph on the highway. So for day trips, this bike is wonderful... for long highway trips across Kansas where you want to cruise at 85 or 90mph it will not do that effectively without running the piss out of the engine. It will do 100mph though if you push it hard enough. I love the sound of an old 883 with Vance and Hines pipes.... I don't think any Harley engine sounds better.... its what a Harley Davidson is supposed to be.

Bro I can get my sporty up to 103 easily. Even to 90 with a passenger. Don't pussy foot the bike it can do a lot

David Toth Hey man thanks for the view. It’s a Le Pera Daytona Sport seat. Funny enough I’m in the process of taking the chrome off. Check out my latest video, I’ve recently re-powder coated my primary covers matte black. Thanks again.

@@ajhollandsworth2895 I didn't like my sporty until I changed my stock seat for a nice mustang solo seat. Now I feel part of the bike instead of feeling like I'm on top of it. Hope it makes sense to you. Lol.

this is trippy. where are you located. i have this same bike. but black oil tank. and the number now say 1200 after they upkit it. i live in michigan

i want to know so badly if i ended up with this bike. i wish i could attach a photo to this somehow. i’m tripping out. that’s my bike. but mine has saddle bags. and spokes are different but same paint job. says sportster 1200.
