In this episode of this series, we have another 2000 Honda Civic Si EM1 with just 82K miles. This 2-part series will include paint, refresh, repair and upgrades. We will first start by removing the front end and refinish the front bumper, hood, grill, fenders, rear spoiler and bumper.
Then we will reinstall along with some Oem accessory upgrades including a set of OEM CTR headlight, fog light kit and trunk spoiler.
On the next episode, we will take this all stock Civic Si and give it an OEM+ look and upgrade that she deserves. Make sure to subscribe and turn on the notification on this.

Another great episode! OEM fog lights and rear spoiler really make a difference on the EM1. I was fortunate enough to have both on the Flamenco Black Pearl Si I bought new back in 1999. I miss that car and loved watching you guys refresh this beautiful Milano Red 2000 model. Can't wait to see what's next!

Thats a nice EM Si. Probably the nicest one I've ever seen after all that work you guys have done. The only EM Si coupe that will be nicer is the one you guys are restoring in house there - I'd bet. As always great job all around taking care of the cars, the customer, the filming, editing, everything. Your guys' channel surely will continue to grow into something amazing and really open new doors.

She looks sweet! Nice job. Would you please provide the part number for the upgraded trunk torsion rods? I have an electric trunk popper connected to my car alarm. The trunk has always slammed closed and now it's only exacerbated with the addition of the solenoid (which is a little heavy).

That's a beautiful Civic. Back when Honda Really cared about their cars and characters. Hondas current bean counters have Nooooo idea of what car character is all about. Even the new main stream civics look the same as the main stream accords. I can't tell them apart at first glance. This is why I've decided to hold onto my 02 Accord even though I just purchases a special edition Pilot. My 02 Accord is a legitimate Japanese Domestic Import. Even now the interior is top notch in build quality and fit and finish. The engine needs to be rebuilt, the cluch needs to be replaced, the oem paint has not held up at all despite my Diligent efforts to wash carefully and wax using quality products and keeping her garaged. All Honda vehicles 1998 to 2002 are prone to poor paint quality and failure. Something about the paint Honda used at that time.

Labor time and paint material can vary. It’s about a 18-22 hours work, multiply your local labor rate

I know you want to go the oem route, but leds in reflector housing will blind oncomming drivers. The only safe and proper way to upgrade your lights is to do a retrofit.

Correct! The lights look great! But the CTR headlights will blind everyone on the road. The RHD beam angle is not for US roads.

RHD headlights have a different beam pattern, they are angled to the left in order not to blind the oncoming drivers and ensure better lighting of the curb. Has it been addressed? Are they street-legal in the US?
