In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 2000 Land Rover Discovery. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this suv while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this suv designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I have this car (2001) it's my 2nd Land Rover, 1st was a classic 94 Range Rover that lasted 368K miles. They are beautiful to drive but tempermental. Maintainence is a must on these cars.

I own a disco 1 and a disco 2.... If you find a good deal on one... go directly to the forums and state your case. Post everything you know and ask for advice. Drive shaft identification is very important. Year models and VIN's matter. If you buy a Discovery.... you should be mechanically inclined. If you aren't so inclined... you should add about 2 grand to the price that the seller is offering.

I own a 2005 LR3 V8SE model. Its an absolute dream and on good days it reads out as getting 17MPG which is outstanding for what it is, driving in town and the odd highway in a rural area. I have noticed electrically, I've had alot of issues. But all have been fixed by wiring repairs, or software upgrades. No mechanical problems with mine yet at all with 170,000 miles and driving a cold canadian winter every year.

After pining for a Land Rover all of my life (and I'm still under 30, so it's not like it's been an eternity), I finally bought a 2000 Disco from a relative last May. It needed quite a lot just because of the age and mileage, but thankfully it was not a neglected example.
