Yeah it's definitely not the best deck. Just has the most big sweats playing it.

i disagree. @ 23:14 he made the decision to play elsa for it's lowest value when he could have drawn a card with mirror, dig more into his deck and find a more palpable ink target than maui. had he not have been able to find an inkable target off that draw he holds maui and plays pocket watch and passes. raush would have quested up to 17 and begin slogging down stuff with rockstar's ability. Then you play the elsa to lock down the rockstar and another threat that preferably quests for 2+ rush in and kill something with elsa and pass the turn, then rausch most likely has to make the decision of 3 for 1'ing himself into the elsa with smash and a character and or another action which drains his resources for his turn mind you he still can't quest again with rockstar. Then you play aladdin rush him in to kill rockstar steal 2 lore and gain 2 lore and then kill something else with elsa if he doesn't commit to getting it off the board stabilizing the game in the control players favor. TL:DR Ruby/Amethyst is still top tier but you have to get into the danger zone and sometimes a little rng to swing the matchups into your favor. The sheer power of card advantage through attrition will 90% of the time net a win if you're not scared.

Not sure which instances you're referring to, but if it's to the Simbas/Rafikis it's because they have bodyguard or rush allowing them to do something on the turn they enter play, so to shortcut it the players just put them on the board tapped then declare what they are doing.

Its not messy, its organized to see every card in his drop. With a glance, he can see every card in his drop to see what is left in deck. MTG players do this in competitive play. Its for information. As long as he does not move any cards to his opponents side like some people do.
