This lessons are very weirdly put together, like the order is very random and many of them are not essential words to learn as a beginner. It's more confusing than anything

It’s simply common elementary vocabulary that can be used casually. Problem is that a lot of these words are incomplete because the first letter or 2 gets cut pretty often so you don’t hear the whole word. Either English or Russian. Wish the editing was better because it’s a great concept but not very well executed. Love the use of multiple voices for a more well founded exposure to the language.

So grateful for your thoughtful inclusion of the the Russian words for: lady bug, gorilla, Ottava, hockey, koala, raspberry, hurricane & other such useful words among the 2000 essential words for foreigners in Russia! Of course I'll need to repeat them hundred of times to remember them, but at least if I ever get lost in Moscow, I would always be able to tell someone - in my best Russian accent of course - "koala, hurricane, gorilla, lady bug", rasberry, hockey & I'm sure somebody there could direct me straight away to "Ottava"'s mental health asylum.

When it's about a verb, it would be wise to add "to" before the English verb. Also, words like "far" are rather understood as adverbs, hence : daleko, rather than dalëky.

Very often I don't know a word so I will just use a Polish one thinking that my Russian is good just to be told that I am not speaking Russian but Polish :D I am not sure about the list though - I am not convinced that knowing how to say a capital of Mexico is useful. For anyone doing this, I recommend just doing it for learning pronunciation a bit, not to memorize a few thousands words lol You wanna learn vocab in context of sentences! Otherwise you won't be able to use these words naturally, unless you already know how they are supposed to be used. Maybe this is just a good way to review some vocab if you know all these words already , and listen at 2x speed, idk
