Icheon has a 1,000-year history of producing celadon porcelain. The city, which was named South Korea's first Special Ceramics Industry Zone in 2005 and a UNESCO City of Crafts and Folk Arts in 2010, boasts a large number of industrial-academic-research infrastructures, including the Korea Ceramics Art High School, the Korea Ceramics Foundation, the Korea Institute of Ceramics Engineering and Technology, and SK hynix

Korean Ceramics are some of the best in the world, I wish the younger generation did more with there hands than tap on a glass screen. As an Australian married to a Korean we will spend part of the year in South Korea and part in Australia and I am hopping I can sooth my soul making art like this as I don't think the sound of my power tools in woodworking would fit the Peaceful nature of the ceramic Masters.

What I really did not like about this video is that they did not show the burned pieces. That in their painting process it is seen that they are experienced masters, but would very much like to see the pieces in their final stages.

This is beautiful Craftsmanship but don't confuse it with art, these are mostly formulas created over and over for the market. There is only one Mona Lisa, statue of David for a reason. AMDG

I respectfully disagree. Every such creation is art. Each creator is a true artisan. Was not the statue of David and the Mona Lisa created for the market of their time?
