So happy I can finally share this with you. In today's vide, we're doing an unboxing, photowalk, and a quick review of what it's like to shoot using an early 2000s digicam in 2023? Can it be a good alternative for film cameras? Easy yes for me and the video will explain why.

Hey there! I just found my dad’s old Canon A520 camera in the garage. Oof problem is, i dont know how to “reboot/start” it yk? There’s no batteries in it, an old Sandisk memory card is still inside it…yeah if someone could help me w/ bringing life back to this old camera, that would be awesome!

I have this camera as well, only difference is I got it new when it was released 😂. For a 4MP sensor it makes some great pics, better than a newer Nikon digicam I have.

Hi there! I also have same camera. But I'm facing an issue of overexposed & completely washed out photos in daytime outdoors. What mode do you click in and what settings? Please share it would be really helpful!!

hmm I’m not quite sure, if you’re shooting manual mode and have a high ISO it’s really going to come out overexposed. I usually would just switch the dial to standard mode that way it adjusts automatically. What are your settings

Hi Leticia! I use my phone to vlog trips (I own an iPhone 11!) sometimes friends’ phone. I recently started using the DJI Pocket 2, love using it but battery life is too short :( can’t even change its battery but you can use it while connected to a power bank. Vlog cams from canon, Sony, Fuji are all good and they’re selling them for a really good price but setting it up while on filming in public can be a pain (tho it’s the same when filming with phone on a tripod) haha for reference, 90% of videos I have here are shot using my phone. @@Luxuuuuuu just film and start ✨plan how to shoot each scene/ frame it well. Get a tripod! That’ll go a long way and don’t be shy to film yourself when in public 🤗

Hi! This model comes with a memory card, I’m currently using a 2GB one and I usually just transfer the photos and reformat the card.

hi! Majority of the photos were taken while on auto mode. As for manual, I don't really have a specific setting yet, I just the light / ISO, but for this one it was shutter speed I kept adjusting

I love the video I really want to buy a camera for photo shoot and blogging with film effect can you please suggest me one in low price? Also how is Sony zv1 is good camera for it and can give me the film effect ? And can I volg and take good photos with Fujiflim finepix a500?

Hi! So the film effect, you can achieve it thru editing (say if end up using Sony zv1 for vlogging) but getting a camcorder is def a much cheaper option, you won’t won’t have to worry about “editing” and any digicam 2010-2019 if you use it for video you’ll get the same low quality nostalgic vibes iykwim haha for photo shoots, for photo shoots do you mean digicam or a dslr? all the best!

@simis2265 hi! I made a camcorder vlog (a day in Madrid) and I used the Sony HDR CX-405, I got it because Emma Chamberlain uses it and I really liked the quality from it. Check the vlog, if that’s the kind of old cam vibes you’re looking for ☺️

just VSCO and lightroom but very minimal edit, I played around with the saturation and warmth to get that Kodak gold look.

heyyy, so the ones here I didn’t use flash. I only did when it’s people, night and indoors ☺️ I had to buy the memory card - cost me 9€. It’s on Amazon!

hiiii! I use the DJI pocket 2, works so well for me. It's around 300-500€! You can also check the Sony HDR CX405 if you want camcorder as your vlogging cam, I got one online for 100€ ☺️

hi Sofi! thank you 🥰 I use adobe premiere pro to edit my videos and yes I colorgrade some footage pero those taken with my phone hindi na. I shoot d-cinelike sa DJI pocket 2 and then I colorgrade that kaya may style or certain color sya 🥰 I plan to do how I shoot and edit vid soon! hihihi abangan mo 🫶🏼
