Something that stuck with me during the 2000's were the commercials. They were so clever and creative.

I turned 25 years old this March, it literally hurts to see those years be long gone, and as I'm getting older, I want the time to reverse and wake up one day 5 years old again.

Mid 90's - 2010 was a golden period of time.

As a 90’s kid, these were the best times of my life. I didn’t know what the internet was until KZfaq launched in 2005. Watching your favorite shows and movies on VHS and cassettes were some of the best experiences. TV, movies, music, and society in general were amazing back then compared to today. After school, you’d come home and play games with friends or go to the park. The 2000’s were the greatest years of my life and I’m truly sad that we will never experience times like that again.

As someone born in 1996, I was too young to remember the 90s but born right on time to experience the 2000s and those were definitely the best years of my life. I didn't know what the internet was until 2005 and discovering KZfaq as a 9 year old felt revolutionary to say the least. After turning 14 in 2010, life was never quite the same for me and I'll always cherish those golden years so much 🥲

Some of my core memories are being 12, going into jr high and discovering 2010s internet culture. Seems like not that long ago, but I graduated high school in 2016...that's 7 years ago. Kinda scary how fast time goes by as you get older. So many times I heard adults tell me to cherish those days and I almost always disregarded them. Man I wish I could go back.

Back when times were more simple. Hanging out with friends after school talking about games, watching amazing shows, listening to great music, etc.

I was born in 1999, I think it’s crazy how we’re probably the last generation to really watch cable, a lot of people are streaming now, there were not as many flat screen tv’s when I was growing up, mostly tube tv’s, times have definitely changed

1997 here, so glad I grew up with all this. Call it nostalgia overload or rose colored glasses, but today’s stuff just doesn’t have a similar impact.

The reason we all feel so nostalgic about the 2000’s is because it was an easier time for all of us and when things get difficult in life we like to think about the times when it was easy for us and nothing is wrong with it, it kinda feels therapeutic in some way

I was born in 1991 so I got to experience all of this during peak childhood. I do miss a lot of it, but what I miss the most is the memory of all the bikes piled up in front yards. Going over to friends' houses. You just don't see much of that anymore. Most kids are glued to tablets and can barely talk to one another

the 90s-2000s must’ve been objectively the best time to be a kid. i don’t think anything in history is comparable to the two decades. the perfect blend between new technology and normal kid behavior (riding bikes/playing outside/socializing) will never happen again.

I was born in 1995 but I still feel like this is definitely relevant to me. And honestly these are the years I remember the most so vividly. To be honest I feel like everything kind of got weak after 2010.

Being born in the year 2000, I have to say it was amazing experiencing all of the wonders the late 2000's and Early 2010's had offered for my youth. I am 23 currently and about to turn 24 in two months I really wish I can go back to 2013 or 2007 to experience my childhood again, if there was an option I would do it. Remember kids enjoy your youth while you can and don't take anything for granted or it will go by real quick.

Fell asleep with the window open last night. Woke up to sound of birds and the smell of cold air and it felt like I was young again for a split second. Looked this up because I was on Disney Plus soon after. Somehow found myself going through a ton of early 2000s movies and started to feel that nostalgic feeling. Felt good. Came here found this video. Slowly but surely a smile and tears began to flow. This hits hard. And I just want to go back. Nothing holds a candle to the early 2000s-2010s. It was over too soon. I wish I had more time to appreciate it. Growing up sucks. I knew it then and I definitely know it now. And now we find ourselves marching steadily and unyeildingly unto another year. I hope 2024 comes with some good.

I used to always feel jealous of my parents who grew up with the golden age of cinema, rock and roll, and classic video games. Then I watched this video. Looking back on it, I couldn’t be happier to have lived through it. The birth of the iPhone, the growth of the Internet, and the golden age of modern cartoons and video games. The 2000s were a unique and optimistic time. We had a damn good childhood!

1999 kid here. This was extremely hard to watch. Makes you regret every single time you said “I wish I was an adult” when you were a kid. I would give anything to go back.

That intro was one of the best hooks I've seen. It makes me feel old to reminisce on a simple thing, like pressing melee into the gamecube and starting the nostalgia trip on its opening. Everything else past that, black eyed peas & all, was incredible. You summed up the best parts of the 2000s pretty damn well. Props!

It's stuff like this that makes me understand why my mom always told me to chillax, slow down and enjoy my childhood, enjoy my teen years, enjoy highschool. She always said it would be gone so fast, and that I could look forward to everything else after my childhood instead of racing to it. I never understood that, it always made me mad. Looking back I wish I'd taken that advice, part of me wishes I could go back to 4th or 5th grade, I'd do so much differently.

Born in 2001, i’m really glad and grateful i grew up the way i did. The only timei was at home was breakfast dinner and sleep time 😅. I miss spending my time outside my building, playing football,basketball and what not.. Will forever remember life before social media. I feel terrible for kids nowadays.

The thing about the early 2000’s was the fact that it was a cultural golden age. So many new things were happening all within the span of just the first 10 years. Good or bad. The sad thing to me though is that I’ll get nostalgia for something like my old OG Xbox when I play around with it. I see the Xbox live tab on it and all I can think of is that I lived during that time but never experienced it. On the Wii the Netflix app is still the original red with white lettering logo, it just blew me away to see it like that after so long.

I’m a 2004 kid and I grew up with a ton of this stuff. Good memories, and it’s nice to return to this stuff at a older age to better appericate everything.

Born right at the end of 1999 here. And oh god, the tears i'm shedding right now. I miss literally all of this. And bro the goosebumps when the Icarly theme played. This video is legit a celebration for my fellow 2000s kids out there. I remember first being introduced to a lot of KZfaq videos by an old friend of mine...this same friend introduced me to Legend Of Spyro which just shaped my life. I remember hanging out with my cousins on my birthday at my aunt's house. We'd open presents, then go into our little club and play together with our new video games and such. We played so much Pokemon and Mario Kart on our DS too. I remember using my mom's old Ipod shuffle so much to listen to Skillet and Evanescence. I remember discovering Nightcore and Deviantart for the first time, same with forum sites. I remember having way too much fun with cheating devices. (Action Replay specifically.) I remember watching old Insanity Flipnotes and LOS fandom animations... God i miss when i didn't hate life entirely. (Hurts even more that a lot of stores/shows/products from this time have either changed, no longer air, or no longer exist. So this video fills me with both happiness and actual pain in my heart...i mean HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT THEY DID TO THE KID CUISINES? They massacred my boi.)

4:07 Kirby Air Ride is still one of my favorite games of all time. So many memories with Smash and Kirby Air Ride. Being born in 1993 is a combination of 90s Nick and Cartoon Network, N64 and a lot of stuff that’s in this video. Even remembering the setup of stores like Target and Walmart was part of the nostalgia. I even miss the Disney store.
