People who say it existed a weak era during Federer Prime level are the ones who defend Djokovic winning Grand Slams against this generation 😂😂😂

lol so true. The opponents of Fed's gen (Safin, Davydenko, Soderling, Nalbandian, etc) completely put Bathroombreakovic's competition to shame

@@initialize21 stats of this last next gen says otherwise. Plus, have in mind that medvedev, zverev, thiem and tsitsipas compete mos of his careers against the big 3 while most of the succes of roger's main rivals in his prime (hewitt, roddick and safin) came before roger enteree his prime

@victormanuelbustamantealva6803 Heres the thing, though Let me take you on a train of thoughts. When Federer dominated, he was cooking everybody left and right, correct? Now guys like Ruud, Tsitispas, zverev, thiem.. even nishikori and the rest of the lost gen, all faced the big 3 in their own primes while the big 3 were either exiting theirs or close to it. Fed was already way out of his. Fed's gs record against the lost gen is very one sided, even though he was well into his 30s. Djokovic and Nadal dominated them as well. Now, Nadal and Djokovic have a very good record against the lost gen and the newer generation. It's only now with the rise of alcaraz and sinner that they have to start worrying (especially nole since rafa is cooked) What is the reason for all this you reckon? They were too good. All of them. Nadal esp on clay, and Fedole on the other surfaces. Roger was preventing the lost gen and even some of the gen of ruud etc, to make deeper runs in slams nearing 40 years of age lol. What do you think would have happened with the ruud gen if rafole were in their primes?😅 they would all get absolutely massacred my man. Guys like zverev, ruud, rublev and medvedev have a combined 1 win over the big 3 in slams.😂 The only guy who was a respectable record against Djokovic and Nadal in grand slams thiem, but even he only has 3 wins against them, with 2 coming off his beloved clay against Novak. @victormanuelbustamantealva6803

@@TvRFReloaded the conclusion of your comment is that the big 3 are better than any gen of players that came up in time? If it's that, i compeltely agree with you.

Considering these crazy shots that look impossible and were done constantly, yes, Djokovic was pretty much unbeatable for more than ten years. It's like Schumacher on the F1, you know who's gonna win without any spectacular move, while Federer was more like Senna, you know who's gonna make what seems impossible happens.

4:42 is the point that every time I watch, I think it shouldn't even be physically possible. He is effortlessly gliding in a lateral direction to defend his backhand side, and so he hits a forehand, not an inside-out forehand but an inside-in forehand into the only angle that Nalbandian doesn't cover. The kinetic combination of all actions, with no redundant motion, to produce one precise shot into a target that no one can even think of IMO.

This half volley from the baseline was constant throughout his career. He liked to play inside the court to make points end quickly. Nadal and Djokovic took inspiration from him and implemented their version of this style. I can't forget one half volley winner against Nadal, I think it was Indian Wells 2018, maybe Miami but I think it was Indian Wells. He was in a very similar position to this point you mentioned.

then Nadal came and schooled weak era champ. Undisputed GOAT Djokovic then nailed his coffin. Forever weak era champ - went from being in shadows of Sampras/Agassi in late 90s to shadows of Nadal and Djokovic. Zero wins in grandslams for a full decade against Djokovic on any surface before weak era champ ran away retired

@@JosephDT weak era ... LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Rafa was fuckin' good on slow swamp, djoker was very good on tha slowest hardcourts ever ... and when Roger stand out from his own way (he did not hit 50-60-70+ UE - most from forehand), they lost to him. Slow courts + referees who let these two 30+ seconds between all of their serving points what was notorious illegal amd unfair to break the opponent's flow + the swan effect and fake injuries notorious unfair to break Roger's flow ... so ... in the game they were far not good enough ... Brad Gilbert wrote a book about these "tricks": Ugly winning. It is a nice one 😁
