Frank Gore and Willis McGahee Backing up Clinton Portis. Kellen Winslow Jr Backing up Shockey. Rosco Perish Backing up Andre Johnson. They also had Antrel Rolle and Johnathan Villima. That Miami Team was stacked with several NFL pro bowlers

Facts Remember when this game was played...usf, fau, fiu, ucf football programs were not able to get good players...now usf, fau, fiu, and ucf can get players that normally would play for .Miami....in addition to all the other school that get players from Florida. Osu, GA, bama, usc, and all the other major d1 football programs don't have 4 additional football programs in their state competing with them for players

You cant tell me Crouch should have won the a the Heisman over Dorcey. The reason is cause Crouch had more TD's and yardage because he ran. But Dorcey was the better passer. But hey id take a Naty win over the Heisman any day.
@user-ke8rq2de9v7 ай бұрын
His passing efficiency wasn’t very good though if you look at the beginning graphic, he completed less than 60% of his passes with almost double digit interceptions. Those numbers wouldn’t fly today in the modern day the Oregon quarterback completed nearly 80% of his passes this season.

I’m a Miami long life fan and Crouch deserved the Heisman. Dorsey was never worthy of the trophy.
