2001 Tahoe that we got in last week, with 210k miles, it's one of the highest mileage vehicles we've had in a lont time. It runs great and will easily take another 100k miles or more. I give a full tour and review of the exterior and interior, start it up, show the engine and get a sound demonstration of the radio and the vehicle itself. Enjoy!

Mines got over 300,000 and still runs good. Water pump, fuel pump and alternator are the only repairs since new. Can't get rid of it now, gotta see how much farther it will go and nobody would buy it anyway.

I have one of these and it's an awesome SUV. Hood paint is peeling like a bad sunburn, and I don't like the steering on the highway (tends to wander quite a bit) but after a few months I got used to constantly correcting. Other than that, it's a fantastic car.

More than likely you need to just redo your suspension as well... Replace with upgraded aftermarket parts and it will ride like new again.... Alignment alone probably isn't enough for older SUV's like these...

@Villxe well my mother has one of these, but it is a 2005. She uses it not only to go get huge hauls of groceries, but also on road trips with 6 people and 2 coolers where one of the third row seats should be. Also, we use it for helping our friends move, in which, this thing has held stuff, other's would bottom out their suspension on, it seems. During one of my movings, I was able to hold me, 2 friends, a La-Z-Boy recliner, a 32 inch RCA TV from 2003, and a surround sound system.

@iPhoneShieet LS is base, LT is mid level, Z71 is LT with off road package and LTZ is top of the line. LT is most popular since it can be equipped with a good amount of features without the high price of the LTZ.

The Tahoe and the Suburban are the "sister cars" of the Yukon, all manufactured by General Motors, so yes it is like the Yukon but some different features and a chevy badge.

@123middle I still run mine fast with no trouble. I run name brand gas like chevron and use 15-40 rotella diesel engine oil. You have to let it warm up a couple minutes but all I've replaced are one fuel pump, an alternator and water pump and the plugs at 250k. My wife has driven it the past four years as well so I know it's tough.

Moms use them to haul children, sports equipment, groceries, etc. As for women in general, it's good because people on the road are less likely to take advantage of a girl driving a huge car than a smaller one.

I don't live in the U.S. but i often read stuff like "my mom has one of these, "my sister" "my girl friend" etc. i dont get it. Why use do they have of a vehicle this big? Don't get me wrong im just curious. I like the interior more in this tahoe than the expedition. The buttons on the dashboard seems to be easier to find if you cant look when driving fast etc. And btw. i enjoy watching these videos, i learn alot.:)

America has wider roads with less curves than most of the rest of the world. So our cars have 'evolved', and hence the popularity of large SUV's. I would have one but $3 gas is too much for me

@stanbernadino yeah, iv'e been trying to calculate how much you would have to pay for gas here in sweden if we had dollars to. 1 gallon is 3.7 liters 1USD is 7SEK and we pay like 12SEK for 1 liter gas. Help me with the math here :D hehe it would be fun to see if we still pay much more than you guys do or if its the other way around^^ But driving around in a tahoe here... i dont wanna think about it :D

@IloveIce356 Did you forget caps lock was on? Im not saying that chevrolet is the worst car manufacter in the world im saying that ford is just better than them. The newer chevys and the newer fords are pretty similar in reliability. But the older fords 70's-80's were way more reliable than chevys. Except the pinto lol.
