Great video. Just did mine a few days back. I did not find a filter, so I cut out a new car carbon filter and secured it.

Glad you were able to find a workaround. I am in Canada and luckily the filter was available from Amazon - ACDelco CF3253 Professional Cabin Air Filter a.co/d/9rTW08N

Interesting that you even have a pollen filter. Can you list part number of the housing parts and filter. My 2005 left hand drive XK8 doesn't have one.

Hi Gary, indeed I've heard that some XK8s didn't have a cabin air filter at all. I am in Canada and my Jag did have a filter fitted from the factory, I did not need a separate housing. Only bought the filter itself from Amazon, it was an ACDelco product, very basic.

Gary, the LHD pollen filter housing is part # MJD6865AA. It was discontinued long ago and my understanding is that most US cars did not get pollen filters for whatever reason. The only current option I know of is that XKstore.at in Austria does a 3d printed version of the filter housing.
