The mtisubishi 4D56 was designed back in the 80's and the black smoke is only normal from an engine designed in the days before EURO emission standards for diesel engines existed. This engine was so well designed, it was in production in the Philippines until late 2017, after EURO IV compliance became a minimum requirement to register a vehicle for road use.

In Indonesia engine same Mitsubishi L300 1988-now,Kuda ( Freeca / Adventure ) 1999-2005,L200/Strada Triton / Triton 2002-2019 ,and Pajero Sport 2009-2015 ( 2016-now GLX and Exceed )

In the Philippines, the Adventure continued production until 2017.

@@ivanerwinwahyudi489 waduh sangat disayangkan sekali, pdhl dulunya kuda cukup laris dibanding panther dan kijang kapsul. Bisa dibilang kuda itu penyempurna dari kedua mobil tsb.

I have a l300 but mines is a gasoline when my engine start I hear a tapping or ticking sound I thought it was the fan so I change the fan an the sound is still there plzz help me is solving this problem
