I am surprised that everyone was really watching. I usually find that people in this type of eceremony get bored (who wouldn't? Lol) and start doing other things, they don't pay attention at all. I was kinda impressed that a song can manage to really GET the attention of the public to the point that you don't stop watching during the time the song lasts. I felt like they were really observing and I like that;;

As much as iwant to believe that their song made them focus (and i love the song too) but i think they were trying to be respectful, for suju is there senior Edit: err i didnt add this in because i didnt think it was necessary, but Im sure the idols watching ARE interested and do like the song (idk if all, but im sure some do) but I’m saying they look more focused, more observant because their in the presence of their senior, out of respect

Idols always watch other idols perform in award shows. Always. They know they're being filmed and even if they weren't filmed the audience can still see them and a whole thing can start off against them if people start saying they were cocky enough to not pay attention to their senior groups. The only reason idols would not watch others perform is when something comes up and they have to solve it with staff or when it's getting close to their turn to perform so they start discussing something about their performance. Yes they're wathcing, but it's Super Junior. Who would dare ignore Super Junior completely? It doesn't mean that idols don't like each other, but they're all so tired from staying up since award season makes their schedules really busy and they've been rehearsing, doing interviews, and then just sitting in waiting rooms for hours upon hours. Idols spend so much time just sitting there waiting for their turn to come both in promotion on music shows and in award shows. The last thing they want to do is watch every single other idol's work, unless they like that specific song or are friends with someone. They need to relax and rest, but have to pay attention and watch otherwise k-netizens will eat them alive. Idols were attacked and bullied online simply for having "weird looks" towards others on camera like it happened with momoland. Ignoring a senior group that debut 15 years ago would be a grave mistake.

Can we just talk about how all these hoobaes watched the whole performance intently. Like, i understand its the first time they watched the perf and heard the song so they dont clap or react much, but all of them, just all of them, are not moving an inch to watch the full performance and i think thats alrdy enough to prove that respect for sunbaes is still in this generation's blood.

For SUPER_Clap and Sorry Sorry they were actually clapping, singing along, moving their heads and hyping up the performance. This is probably cuz they were familiar with the two songs while 2YA2YAO was just released 2 days before SMA so they were focusing on the perfomance, lyrics and song itself.

They all work hard because believe it or not most fans actually like seeing idols reacting to their faves.I mean after all there is a reason why you are watching this video @R U JELLY.

People spend money on concerts for anything. When I went to mama there were koreans who were just taking photos of the popular idols probably to sell, and when someone they thought they couldn't make money off was on stage they literally... And I mean literally, had stools that they slept on. Similar with single fans. They will pay crazy money to go see their idols for 1 minute doing nothing and ignore the 2 hours of other performance

I think 2YA2YAO is a new song released just two days before SMA so they were just focusing on the song and performance itself.

Love how captive TWICE was. So many things must have been going through their minds while watching this. Lots of ONCEs are male and about the same age as the members of Super Junior. As performers I'm think TWICE was also observing their choreography, its difficulty level and as Kpop idols that are a bit older, how well they performed it. And you know TWICE would love to eventually have the same type of staying power of Super Junior.

Idk what r u talking about...They may have not heard the song yet...It was released 3 DAYS AGO. WTF FO U EXPECT? Red Velvet, Taeyeon and Chungha were clearly jamming to the song Nct Dream were bopping their heads and being really focused Twice were 100% focused as we can see, Jeongyeon and Jihyo were really excited Monsta X were jamming too

Please don't judge them for not reacting the way you expected. I was happy to see them put their full attention on the performance instead of just ignore. They might actually stream the song after get back home huhu also after the award show, nct dream had a vlive and jeno mentioned to give love to super junior's new album and chenle keep saying shindong is cool and the members agreed. If nct dream would do that, i bet the other groups would atleast check out the new song.

2ya2yao was released one day before the performance and not all have them have watched it because they are idols too and are busy. plus this is SJ first performance and you can obviously see some of them jamming to it. fyi, dreamies are super hyped when sorry sorry was playing (super cute check it out) and jeno promoted 2ya2yao on their vlive after this event so like stop being so irrational about reactions. to add on in the past the idols were close therefore the hype, they are sj juniors technically and if they were to hype imagine the reaction they would get from the fans. in fact sitting down and jamming to the song may be the better option for them.

Have you seen the snits they did during Super Shows? After trying to sing while being crushed/teased/chased by each other, singing while dancing was a piece of cake 🤷♀️😂😂
