Chevy Avalanche was a pretty innovative, yet luxurious station wagon/pick-up truck produced by GM from 2002 until 2013. ( I guess they didn't learn much from the Subaru brat made from 1978-87.) The 2500 model (3/4 ton) was only made from 2002-2006 and in small numbers, so isn't well known. This walk-about is merely to describe and display this unusual truck.
