I have been self-teaching myself easy maintenance projects on my car, a 2002 Honda Accord (V6). I do not see very many maintenance related videos when it comes to this model. This video is an attempt to help others looking to accomplish a similar project, as well as a log for me to keep track of what I have already done to the car.
Parts && Items I used:
- ~1 Gallon Genuine Honda Type 2 Antifreeze/Coolant - OL999-9011
- Flathead screwdriver
- Funnel
- Drain pan
- Vise grips or Multi-tool (optional)
- Pry tool (optional)
- Paper towels (optional)
- Nitrile gloves (optional)
- Lots of patience (not at all optional)

He did it quite better than most mechanics, they usually don't even take the radiator cap off. But he forgot that drain bolt on the block, the reason I wanted to see some videos on the V6

Your car seems identical to mine. It appears like many more miles than mine. I am very happy to have watched your video but I have always heard it is a great to turn on the heater in the car to emprove time. Thanks for all the info. I chose the deep cleaning option where you add a two in one pre stone quart a drive around for around 3 days or 3 minimum to 6 hour than drop and follow all steps demonstrated in your video. Thanks again.

He have the same vehicle..mine also a 3.0 v6 coupe. I flush out my radiator . Excellent video

Have the same car, you skipped a very important step, loosen the drain bolt on the back side of the engine, so that the refrigerant comes out from the engine side, its a 12mm bolt backside the engine block
