Great example of the boxster. Excellent selection of upgrades. Only thing I saw that I would have considered is a polished aluminum gear shifter, but to each his own and overall beautiful boxster 👍

Very nice, my favorite boxster color. Glad I found your channel Paul. I purchased an 05 boxster this year as well. First Porsche, really enjoy driving it in the canyons and on the coast. Also in SoCal.

I also have a 2002 Lapis Blue Boxster Base. My interior is completely blue and fitted with nice blue Coco mats. These are fun cars to drive with the top down. I'm sticking with the classic design, but very interesting to see how you made it your own!

Totally modernized that vehicle with the lights, bumper, and wheels. Would easily be mistaken for a new Porsche. Nice ride dude

There is nothing quite like a Boxster. Usually, I'm not too keen on going away from stock. Yours, however, is very tastefully done, beautiful car.

Boxster emblem on trunk is too small. I put the small badge on the face of my elevated wing. So Cal. here! San Diego!

Your car looks awesome I hope one day my car will look even close to yours I bought a 986 98 boxer that was sit underneath the tree for 7 years good thing I only paid $1,500 for it.... Wish me luck we'll keep in touch with you on the project keep making more videos so I can get this carl together

The bumper and the headlights (what a deal) are a great update, make it look far less than its 20 years. Cool rims and the yellow calipers look great against that blue. Love the block PORSCHE on the rear deck too. Did you say how many miles?

Nice example of a Porsche….I own a 2003 ‘S’…love driving the car (when I do drive it!), just turned 45k miles…maybe I’ll invest in a 911 one day, however, I do love my Boxster and would have a hard time parting with it… Throw the top back, and enjoy my friend…

Car looks awesome I guess I'm going to get a set of those headlights. The only problem with them is the trim is in black and I have a silver car does not look bad on a dark car but wondering if I can do something about that. Also what is the brand of the front air dam I heard you say it but I couldn't quite make it out

I really like the headlights you have on your boxster. Mitigates the "fried eggness" and just look clean. Did you have the headlights done or eere they already on the car when you got it?

Great job, I picked up an 01 S same lapis blue. Have you done the infamous coolant tank repair? That was my first maintenance item. TG for the DIY Porsche KZfaq

Did that car come with Litronics? If so, were there any mods necessary to run the new headlights? Websites say those lights won't work on a car with Litronics.

That's right, these lights are not compatible with factory Litronic cars.

@@pq5761 Thank you so much for the response Brother. I certainly appreciate it. If I may ask one more question. Are there any lighting options for a Litronic equipped car? I have a really nice '01 Speed yellow S. The lights are in great shape but the wiring inside is causing flickering. It's not the ballast or bulbs, that's why I am looking for options. What can one expect from a 2002 manual boxster repair wise? Like how expensive does it get if something goes wrong?

Many of the parts can be found online so simple maintenance isn't more expensive than most cars. These are well built and my experience is that it has been reliable. As with any older car, try to get a sense for how well it's been maintained BEFORE you buy. The most expensive thing that can go wrong is engine failure which of course would be very expensive. Enjoy your car, they are awesome!

Aftermarket LEDs that I purchased on OfferUp. I don't know the brand. I suspect they are the same ones you see on eBay.

Your ride is looking sweet man. Those air intake mesh things, how about just flat black them out? Or match the body color. I love the blue, I’ve considering and window shopping the Boxster for about a month.

The headlights can be found on eBay. The tail lights were on the car when I bought it.

this car tries to look flashy. I would remove those funny tuning accesories, like cheap led ligths, porsche decals... Put original read and headlights with xenon, try original GT3 bumper (properly painted), 19 inch bbs or lobster like...
