With almost ZERO aftermarket support, I decided to design and fabricate robust performance exhaust systems for the 2.4L to replace the always cracking cast iron manifold. This video breaks down the kit and compares it to the factory system.

There is a serious lack of 2.4 videos, parts and support. Thank you, for the work you're doing for those of us looking for ways to upgrade and add power to ours. We are an underrepresented group in the community for sure.

They had a 2.5l in the 97-02 TJ's. In 03 they introduced the "Powertech" 2.4L

Excellent video, the quality of your materials and your welding skills are some of the best I have ever seen, my 2.4 is definitely in need of more power especially with the bigger tires I run and you have the solution. I'm looking for the parts spreadsheet on the 2.4l turbo build. Was considering doing a swap but now i see this awesome idea. I found the forum thread but dont see a parts list anywhere?

Beyond the Sun A turbo kit would would save some weight and will leave the proven stock drivetrain configuration

I don't have dyno numbers yet but it adds a ton of power even on low boost. I can pull 70mph up hill on 33's. Stock 3.73 gearing

I have a 97 2.5 Can I swap it for a 2.4 or the transmission is different? Wiring is not an issue for me . 🤓

Just curious why would you want to swap to a 2.4? I have the 2.4 and wish I had the 2.5 just reliability wise. Would much rather just have a 4.0 but oh well
