This video shows the trick to replace a low beam bulb on a 2005 E500 w211 HID headlight. This is similar to CLS models as well.

Thank you soooo much, I would’nt have been able to do mine without your video. Most other w211 have the “ regular “ low beam light, ours was the xenon one and the entire process was entirely different from the usual. Thanks a million!!!!

Buy a new igniter, they are pretty cheap on ebay. I wS changing my bulbs and couldn't figure it out and all other video nobody would show the trick to it.
