Na verdade não e que o keer não estava em forma, na verdade ele não estava usando o suco 🥤, lutadores como ele e até o arona faziam amor com o suco ja naquela época, 50% do sucesso desses caras era anabolizado

Cara muito do wrestling é o condicionado. Ao contrário do Jiu que exige mais técnica o wrestling é condicionado puro. E eu não estou desmerecendo a arte até porque eu sou um praticante. Eu com meus 39 anos e fora de forma capaz de não derrubar um bom praticante de jiu em forma e no mesmo peso que eu. Não estou dizendo que não há técnica mas é menos relevante que no jiu ou no judô por exemplo. Ou seja tire o condicionado físico de um wrestler e você mata a sua vantagem.

Not really, Kerr was already falling off a lot here. A couple years earlier this would have been really interesting to see. Ricardo Arona was an amazing grappler too. He was beating EVERYONE at this time period.

Yes, he was off the PEDs at this point. A few months after this, he fought in Pride and self-KO'd himself from a takedown and he was still very soft and obviously not on anything then either. Mark was a high level wrestler, and even without drugs - that was evident.

Yeah, unfortunately this wasn't Kerr at his best. He had fallen off a ton here. Stopped training completely I believe, and was off PEDS. The Kerr that won the ADCC years before was an animal. He never lost, and would have almost definitely beat Arona. Kerr beat Mario Sperry in the superfight, who was one of the best grapplers on Carlson Gracies team. Sperry, Liborio, and Bustamante were the best I think.

Usou muito esteroides anabolizantes! Faz com que o corpo se acabe mais cedo, a prova viva Victor Belfort, abusou de uso e com o tempo ficou dependente do TRT, pra repor a testosterona. Pq o uso afetou o sistema epatico

@@Lucas-pd8gg TRT na epoca era so uma desculpa pros caras usarem bomba legalmente, o Vitor nao ficou dependente nao. O que acabou com o Kerr foi a dependencia quimica em Painkillers, como mostra no proprio documentario sobre a vida dele "The Smashing Machine".

When was at his best he was really good in this format, although not entertaining. No one ever even scored against him. Remember that he beat Mario Sperry, who was one of Carlson Gracies top students, much better than Arona. He used his power. He took guys down and basically held them there and advanced position at times. Sometimes he would just overpower guys with a neck crank or a kimura. He likely would have just held Arona down like he did to Sperry.

@@CommunismiEstCacas Not just off steroids, Kerr was a mess physically and mentally at this point. Wasn't even training. Basically you see how good his wrestling was at one time that even eroded they still allowed him to compete. In shape Kerr would have had little trouble with Arona.

This was not the same Mark Kerr that one dominated. Every champ has to relenquish the crown eventually.

And Kerr listened to Mark Coleman that advised him for never fighting against a Luta - Livre Esportiva Fighter after Coleman almost lost his left leg to Pedro Rizzo !!!

Marco Ruas and Pedro Rizzo scaried almost all Wrestlers from the old school from Ufc ( 1993 - 1999 )

Arona was undefeated at ADCC. After Roger he's possibly the greatest nogi grappler of all time

@@tatertots0046 I don't know how someone who sucked as much as Arona did at submissions can be considered the second greatest nogi grappler. In his entire ADCC career, he only ever got a single submission, against some no name guy in the first round. He couldn't even submit Tito Ortiz. Pretty much anyone in the Danaher Death Squad these days is a way better grappler than Arona.

Arona would be running away from Garry freaking Tonon for the whole match trying not to get his leg ripped off. Arona barely even did BJJ, look at this fight, he won by a single takedown, and he couldn't even keep Kerr on the ground. Arona just happened to compete in ADCC at a time when the competitor pool was microscopic and super jacked up wrestlers could win with wrestling alone. Marcelo, Keenan, Gordon Ryan, and a ton of other guys have probably 100x the BJJ skill Arona did.

I really highly doubt that. Kerr beat Sperry in their primes. Sperry was one of Carlsons top students, much better than Arona. I mean even here with Kerr at his worst, Arona should have killed him in 2 seconds, and it didn't seem all that easy for hiim. If the Kerr that beat Sperry was there then Arona would get crushed. I like Arona, but I'm just being honest. You can just tell based on Kerr resume. We know how good of a grappler Arona was. I mean he struggled against Tito in an ADCC match. Kerr was on another level in terms of wrestling. Aronas best chance would be to submit kerr, but if Sperry couldn't then I can't imagine Arona being able to.
