I can't tell you how many of these I drove as rentals in the 2000s. My employer would only pay for the cheapest car, and it was just me, so this is what I got. But everything always worked and it never left me stranded so I won't complain. With the money I saved on not eating out and taking the government per diem instead over 10 years I have zero debt and drive a nice Genesis SUV but the Cavalier was still a good car.

For value, best car I ever owned was an 03 Cavalier.

One of the most reliable cars I ever owned I bought mine brand new and recently sold it because I moved to the UK I never had any issues with it everything was all original and all I did was basic maintenance hell the original battery actually lasted 6 years before it started to go bad.

2003 an i still have mine i love it an drive it every day an this is 2021👌

It was my first car and it was originally bought by my mom given to my grandpa then passed to me. My grandpa babied the engine so it runs and drives great and has an alright amount of torque for a first car too.

I got a 02 cavy ls and personally I love it yes low hp and exhaust is kinda hanging and with 150k miles still going strong easily burns rubber at a stop to go still

when mine sounded like that, the timing chain was stretched and had i known id of replaced it then, but no i let it jump time and had to rebuild the engine.

My cousin had 3 of these the 1 she liked the most was the 1991 because it was bigger then her 2005

My dad and grandparents had a 99 4dr tan one until 2015

no my 02 has automatic everything

I had it. I liked a lot but the dashboard was made of crappie plastic and the rev counter just got useless. Plus, the engine used to stall without reason even when driving doing the wheel not operative. So dangerous.
