I have the AC not working, it's not leaking or anything, do you think it could be the compressor, on the DBO reader it doesn't come up with any faults. Would it be the fuse?

Hello. Thank you for posting your question. First, check fuses, check that the system has refrigerant. If those two items are ok, check power and ground to the compresor clutch. Keep me posted.

@@gqautodiagnostics I checked the fuses, they are all okay, the AC has randomly started working today on the motorway, but then the AC just stops working. I just parked the car and tried it again but it works sometimes. The massive fan next to the radiator seems to be playing up. Not sure what the issue could be.

I know this video is 1 year old but still I'd like to ask. So my AC is not working and I went to get the freon or however the gas is called, filled up to it's capacity. So there they checked if my compressor is working, and it is but the AC is still blowing warm air. I have been told it could be the radiator or a valve that is responsible for the switch between cold/hot air, or I might have to change the whole compressor .... any idea if the radiator could be the issue or is it something else?

The compressor on these cars are variable. It doesn't have a clutch and compressor pump is always on. The refrigerant output is variable depending on the pressure reading on all the pressure sensors and thermostat, temperature sensors and the module will be the one to command how much refrigerant it will pump depending in the inputs it received. You need to have it check with AC technician that knows how to work in these cars. You need to have a scan tool capable of reading the sensors on the AC system coupled with the AC gauges on hand and some electrical know how.

Hi i have same problem, hot on driver side and cooler passenger side, but thing is that some previous owners removed hot system and it’s off. My air conditioning works about 10 min and goes off automatically. Than need to connect obd software to remove erros, but after 10 min ac is off again. I changed temperature sensor and not happened. May someone help me? Its. 2003 E320 W211
