Great instructions I managed to replace mine today like you said it's a bugger removing the clock spring it took me about an hour trying in the end I managed it was worried not to break the plastic clips but in the end all good thanks for the instructions very easy to understand

Oh forgot to say what my problem was my switch would not spray water on the windscreen when pressed inwards.. and when I removed the old one I saw what the problem was one of the 3 wires was cut it was the white on on the original Mercedes one cheers😊

Mine isn't this bad yet, it stays up most of the time, especially if the wheel is at least slightly turned. Might just pay a friend to do it, he said he'll charge 50€ for labor.

What’s the difference between 5 pins and 6 pins. I have a w209 2004 What should I buy the 5 or 6 ?

Hi I saw another video and he had the same car as your and his was a 6 pin but the switch he purchased was a 5 pin so I'm pretty sure yours is a 6 pin I have a clk 240 2003 c209 and mine is a 5 pin 2004 changed to 6 pin just double check online

If you have headlight washers that's probably the 6th pin

IMPORTANT: You MUST drain all the power from the cars electrical system after disconnecting the battery before removing the airbag!!!

@@liborlepka4240 Disconnect the negative battery cable from the negative battery terminal ( in a negative earth vehicle) and wait for 30 minutes for the power to drain from the airbag control module.
