Houston Astros in 2004 came close to hosting the All Star game and be one of the two teams hosting the World Series (Astros lost in 2004 NLCS in 7 games to the Cardinals). Last team to host an ALL Star game and be one of the two teams to host the World Series was the 1997 World Series, Cleveland hosted the All Star Game and was one of the two teams to host the World Series

@baseball-xt3uj9 ай бұрын

If this part has not been broadcast thats a foolish move considering this is how the general public and fans a like get to meet the players. Its an honor in baseball.to play in these types of games. As a youth seeing the players being introduced in years past leaves an impression in ones mind,. Ir ackowlwdges the individual and the team alike. I cant rhink.of the alternative, sime pre game bikering or terrible humour fron anchormen or ex players. Missing the player introductions in recent years.
