I currently have this car and I'm in yr 4 with it. It really drives like it's still 4 yrs old but it makes me curious about why general motors discontinue it for their replacement to only be out 5 yrs in production the cavaliers are really over looked despite them being in production for 23 yrs !

Yeah, cavaliers are very reliable cars. My grandma (God rest her soul) bought an 02 chevy cavalier brand new, and we still have it to this day.

I currently own a 2000 cav and got it for 1100 had 114k miles in at 130k now and only had to replace spark plugs so far

fleet buyers still wanted the cavalier. fleet buyers don't like new models if they can avoid it.

Did retro reviews Alexa just say an ecotech engine can make 1000hp with stock parts and these cars sell for under 5k

I did some research and the stock rods are only good to 250hp. The pistons will take up to 300 and the crank 400. So this woman probably shouldn't be telling people about cars.

I had a blue 04 2dr 5spd What a piece of 💩 this thing was engine was ok brakes suspension handling absolutely shit
