2004 Jaguar X-Type How to refill the A/C

Similar to any other car, but the refill (recharge) low pressure port is somewhat hidden on the Jaguars. Use caution when handling (any) container and connections under high pressure. Just because it's commonly called "low pressure line", it does not mean it cannot be dangerous.

i have a 2005 xtype....thought it was gonna cost a bunch to get the A/C fixed, then I remembered the commercial for A/C Pro, jumped on the inter web and googled for a "how to" video on how to fix and viola! Can't wait to try it - been a brutal summer so far!

Yesterday I decided to give it one more shot - I watched your video again and threw out the stupid instructions.....worked like a charm!!! I bought an a/c pro for my car x type 2002 and my mechanic told me that the port didn't fit... And on yours looks like it lock up pretty well..

+Romeo Zamora There are 2 ports, one low pressure one high pressure. It will fit the port which is a bit more hidden from view, just like in the video.

No! Do it in short bursts of a few seconds. Every time you let the trigger go, look at the gage and keep the pressure in the green, but don't let it go in the red. Overfilling will result in bad A/C operation, and could cause blowing warm air again. Go by the pressure gage reading, not by the size of the can. Thanks.
