I did it to my 2000 Grand Cherokee Laredo 6 cylinder the Drone was crazy on Highway normal 25 to 30 sounds kick ass though

It naturally pops a decent amount stock just straight pipe your beast I have a side dump on mine and a muffler and it sounds mean you could even just do that but do a dual exit on each side if you don’t usually have passengers in the back the exhaust on these old boys depending on your mileage and how previous owners treated yours possibly you but regardless it can get Smokey sometimes especially in the cold I’m just speaking from my experience with my ole girl and she’s still strong side dumps suck for that gas moisture and smell

I installed a cutout on my exhaust, and got a result very similar to this video. When warm, this baby is just popping all over the place People around are always asking if I did any mod to have it pop like that

If you get less gas mileage its probably due to people enjoying the sound so they ride the pedal more than they would otherwise. If you drove it around grandma style it would probably get better mileage. But who deletes a cat to not hear the sounds? lol
