2004 KTM 85 SX Project Part 1: Bottom End

I picked up this 2004 KTM 85 SX for $200 and have finally gotten around to tearing into it. The crank would not move when I got it, but after removing the clutch hub nut, and taking the clutch case off, the crank started moving as it should. There are a couple of parts missing inside, including the thrust washer that sits behind the clutch basket, and the stop disc behind the kick starter gear assembly. It appears to have something going on with transmission as well...let's get it sorted and hopefully get a working bike out of this, without spending too much dough!

I literally have the same exact shift drum issue on 2003 ktm 65 project.

@4:08 there rivits m8 grind them owt and the rubbers inside will be worn causing the basket play

@GREGHOLUB thanks for asking...I had all the intentions of finishing this project, but had a change in my job situation, for the good...but I've just been SO busy that I just haven't had any time to do it. I've decided to sell it along with the bazillion parts that I have for it haha. I've got someone now who wants to finish the job....so I'm gonna pass it on.
