I came across this video after 5 years being uploaded. Guess why? I finally get my first Robosapien, after 4 years of searching! It happened just yesterday that I made my best deal for an "early production" model from 2004. 15 euros and I took it home guys! It's in good condition, complete with the original remote control and two instruction manuals. Best regards from Italy, by a very satisfied 23 year old person😁

Remember my dad buy it when im just a baby. My dad told me i very love this robot and play it everyday. So miss this robot 😊

I remember getting this for Christmas back in 2004, I got the dinosaur version a few years later.

I currently have one and its already 12 years old. Im amaze thats it still fully functional though the color started to fade but other than that its still works.

Wish I never got rid of him in 2009 it was the best christmas gift ever from my Grandpa when he was around brings back nostalgic vibes! Im on the verge to finding him once again 20 years later! Igot the small version now gotta find him

I'll turn 52 in December and I just got a Robosapien through ebay.. don't judge me. 😜 .. I'm in a multi-hobby life phase and robots are a good one. Fun toy, but with the advancement of AI tech it's a gateway to getting educated about servos, motors and electronics/controls.. similar to drones (flying robots!) which I have, also. Thanks for the video.. and what a fun/great dad you have there, kiddo!

I remember spending my entire birthday money on one of these when I was young! It felt like I was in the future

I remember these! They got steadily smaller as the years went on.

I got this toy when it first came out in 2013, at first me and my brother loved it, we'd get home from school and be all alone cause our parents were working so We played with ti all the time and had a blast making it walk and dance. Then one day when we got home from school, it was not where we left it, and instead was in the living room with its arms up. At first, we thought nothing of it but thought it was strange that it moved by itself. We continued to play with but it started acting strangely and doing things without us telling it to. It would lift its arms or say "oo, ow". Eventually, we lost the remote for it, just couldn't find it anymore, the only thing we could do was turn it on and off, which was still fun for a 10-year-old me, but no lifting arms, no walking, only wake up and turn off. So soon we lost interest and i got a guinea pig for Christmas, a new obsession that i loved, i named him Pablo and so we stopped playing with it as it collected dust in my closet. Until one night, I was woken up by a sound playing in my bedroom, a sound i once loved, it was the dancing sound and when i woke up and looked, i saw the robot dancing and playing the "dun dundun dundudndun" song in the middle of my room. there's no way it could've done that by itself but it did, everyone else was sleeping and the remote was still lost. but there he was dancing in my room after being untouched for weeks. i shut him off and put him back in the closet, not knowing how what i just saw happened. the next morning i woke to him missing, not in the closet where i left him. i went to school and tried to forget about but i kept feeling an overwhelming sense of dread when i thought about him, and i had an awful feeling that it did something terrible. when me and my brother got home we found pablos cage door opened and no pablo inside. we were very worried and started searching for him when we herad the same dancing song playing from the bathroom, "dun dundun dundudndun". we crept in and saw pablo dead on the floor in a pool of blood, and the robosapien standing over him dancing, holding a kitchen knife. robosapien killed my guinea pig. after that we sold the toys to some family and little boy, and have forgotten about him unti l saw a youtube video pop up in my recommended randomly. the thought cant escape my head now and i wanted to relay the message to ANYONE thinking about buying one. good luck.

i had the toy when i was born, but then i lost it. fortunately i was able to get a new one :)

I Found a robosapien on a trash can but it's small and the remote was not there idk where it is and I decided to pick up the robosapien and checked if it's broken or not but it's broken I won't throw robosapien away

I remember I had one of these, me and my brother took the batteries out one day and then locked it in the closet. Pretty sure ours was haunted, because in the middle of the night we would hear banging on the closet doors and the eyes would just randomly turn on and then look straight at us, every time we looked away from it it would also move a little bit
