I own a 2005 MDX Touring and it is a wonderful vehicle. Bought it new and I currently have 476,000 miles on it. We have had no big repairs needed other then replacing the timing belt and water pump every 100k or so. Other then that just one cv axle, radiator and a power steering pump. Best vehicle we have ever owned! Car rides just as good now as it did when new

Do you still have the Mdx? If so whats your mileage? Or if it died on you how much mileage did you have at the time? I just bought one with 186,000 miles. Power steering pump and exhaust need to be replaced other than that its perfect
@denisschneider59413 ай бұрын
@@drecool6976well it would all depend on if it was replaced with a used engine/transmission. For it to have had to be changed it means that the car was not taken care of and I’d be worried what else is wrong with it.

Really excellent video and showed everything I needed. I'm really considering getting an 05 or 06 with low miles. Great to see how smooth and good that sounded even with so many miles. Great Job !!!

Fabulous video! I find it interesting that Acura even downgraded the second gen in some respects like the loss of the auto wipers. Overall I think I'd enjoy this car. How do you like the seats? What do y'all average in terms of MPGs?

It does both, tilt and telescope.

I am quite picky too. Does the steering wheel telescope or is it tilt only? That makes a huge difference for someone my height.
@importcarenthusiast11 жыл бұрын
The seats were pretty comfortable (and im picky with seats) with lots of adjustment. We usually average aroudn 17-18, but my dad got 23.9 the other day on the highway (thats really impressive, considering its rated at 21 AND has a lto of miles on it).

@Nonamebabe955 жыл бұрын
BlaqLionKing ofcourse they will have tranny issues if you don’t take care of them. I personally ( my family and I) have been servicing mine at the Acura dealership since it was originally bought from the dealership in 2004. My friend has the same car and has had tranny issues because she 1.) has been driving it wrong (been using the + & - shifter wrong) and hasn’t been servicing it properly. But mine has no issues except for the big crack in my windshield from a bird (which will be fixed)
