The relationship he had with his mother was something I have never seen before especially on the documentary. He never interrupted her, he never spoke over her, he took it all in and his mother would say his name a lot which is an excellent form of communication it releases dopamine and the other feel good chemicals in the brain. This burst of excitement makes people happy and sends unconscious signals such as empathy, trust, and compassion to the unconscious brain. They were so comfortable around each other she knew all of his lyrics. Music can be so deep and it's the ultimate form of expression and he didn't feel judged by Donda and she got to know him on a completely different level which is so rare it would be like letting your parents read your journal or your deep and meaningful conversations on social media. He didn't feel judged by her and she loved them all, Donda is his number one fan! When one of them started to smile the other would contagiously. They would rap together and it was pure sunshine and happiness Hey Mama in the kitchen. I get the feeling his mother was beautiful inside and out. This special and vital relationship was just ripped away he still needed her. He will never get over it and I lost my father last year in a way that will leave me asking why and what if for the rest of my life often and it haunts me. So I feel for him so much. I am glad he is still gifting us with his stunning music. I really hope that one day he will get his pure sunshine smile back

Donda was being his momager before anybody else had a mom doing what she was doing..But the love and advice she was giving him was something that only she could do..and I truly think he knew and knows nobody will never love him like she did..He has to carry that pain around EVERYDAY ON TOP OF THE B.S HE HAS TO GO THROUGH...MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIM HEAVY.. ESPECIALLY WITNESSING KIM AND KRIS' RELATIONSHIP...IM NOT WRITING TO BASH THEM..BUT TRUTHFULLY KIM DOESNT EVEN HAVE THAT LOVE FOR YE THAT DONDA DID..AND KRIS' LOVE LOOKS WATERED DOWN FOR HER CHILDREN COMPARED TO DONDAS LOVE FOR YE... He was raised right and regardless of the money/ being famous it means nothing to him as much as MORALS, INTEGRITY, & RESPECT...Money can't buy that..People want to label him but they should be pointing that same finger back at themselves. He understands...It's the public that doesn't understand or choose to..instead tryin to label him.. Kanye didn't want his kids being filmed so is it that surprising that he doesn't want North on Tic~toc..? The person that's giving supervision is the same person who got robbed in Paris..So apparently she's not to good about the decisions that she makes about what to post and what not to post..North has posted without her moms permission 2xs..That's one too many..Ppl are crazy (he has seen it) So y play like that..with your own child's life..? And make up for a child that's not even a teenager...Donda would say not her grandbabies and Ye is saying not his kids...Is he wrong for caring..? Not at all..Grown men watching his child on the internet..Not right at all..If he didn't care yall would talk about that..When he does care Yall talk about that...Yall can keep talking but in the end he's their Father and Does Matter...

i just cried to this video a little while ago, you can see how different he is now. here he's so happy to have his mom with him, and after she passed it really changed him. donda loved her son so much and it's so sad that he blames himself for his moms death. i really hope some day he finds peace, it's going to be 14 years since she passed this coming november. she would be so proud of her son especially with the new album. rest in eternal peace donda west july 12th 1949- november 10th 2007

elationship he had with his mother was something I have never seen before especially on the documentary.

My mom has always been my number one, saw her battling an abusive relationship/drug problem/ mental health. Through all of that, no matter what, she gave her kids love, support and comfort. Her and i had a good cry when i showed her this song for the first time. This song describes the love i have for my mom in a way i could never verbalize

When you watch this one and then the immediately watch the Grammy Performance version he did shortly after she passed. Ugh so heart breaking, but beautiful all the same. I'm glad he was always openly expressing his love for her while she was here. ❤️ I pray he finds peace.

It’s so sad seeing this performance after watching the jeen y-hus documentary. His mothers belief gave him the strength to chase his dreams and succeed in being one of the greatest artists ever. What could people achieve given the same love and determination his mother gave him. Ever since her death he has not been the same person and it’s sad seeing the difference. Tell more people how much they mean to you and encourage people you believe in 🙌🏻

I never liked Kanye...and I can't tell you why...probably because of all the bad publicity, but now I'm watching his documentary because I love hip hop and also listening to all these songs for the first time and they are brilliant. So happy that I did not like him back in the day and didn't listen to any of his songs. Inadvertently saved em all for this moment in my life. Dude's a Jeen-yus
