There are days when I have had doubts about Mercedes cars as a whole, but when I look at BMW, Cadillac, Audi, and Lexus, I keep going back to looking at Mercedes and liking it more.

This by far has to one of the best e classes they ever made timeless design. I wish I can go back to a 2005 auto show to see one of these in brand new condition.

This generation of E Class is my favourite. The newest one looks like a damn Honda Accord. The big grill and bug eyed headlights make this car look so wonderfully MB.

When i was very little my mom and dad had this car it was a blue one it was a 2005 model like the white one he traded in to the gl 450 (2007 model) in 2011 because my brother was born and my parents needed a bigger car but i can vividly remember that car because i was turning 4 at the time i hope the current owner is happy for the car

He didn’t show the best part! When you touch the chrome strip under the hazard button, the whole panel under the navigation slides out and up and then a 6 disc CD player pops out.

Nice looking car even thou its getting old. This look is way better than most of the newer models of this Mercedes.

w211 body still looks hot and classy! at 2020 i’ve purchased 2005 w211 white ex. tan interior, with only 50K miles, for reasonable price. It still feels like a new car.very smooth luxury ride. German car!

I have this model but with the long boot. Its a monster of a car. The ride is amazing and that engine is perfect. Tried Cruise and Sport mode and they both nice but I like the power of the sport mode. Beautiful car

Love it! The AMG package makes even the bottom rung E-class a lot more aesthetically pleasing! Question, is that compartment under the seat for additional storage (might be a stupid question, but O well lol)

my car except mine has a black leather interior,i love this car and i think i was luck to get it..I bought it from an elderly white Australian...He took good care of it,took it to a service every six months,has no accident history and is covered..I got all that R74000 i had R80000 and i just saw a bargain.The own sold it to me immediately,i used the remaining R8000 to get the dents fixed and tinted windows.I have had it for a year now and i have never crashed it,it has never given me problems,and its always ready for a long distance to KZN plus it saves petrol,i dont have any complains with it,i just wanna buy the AMG rims and i will love it even more...I a, married to it lol

I have a E500 I love it. Some things to note, ball joints fail very easily causing a horrible squeak I recommend replacing them. The license plate wiring gets cut over time and needs to be fixed. And if equipped with SBC Brakes the SBC battery will need replaced soon if you get a red battery message

@HamburgerUtopia Go for 06 to 08 if you like this generation of E Class. Make sure you find one that's been properly maintained, mostly you might get problems with the airmatic suspension but newer models had an improved version of airmatic. A/C likes to go out on them too so make sure that works as well as everything else. My friend owned an 03 E500 and we did spend sometime under the hood of the car fixing it lol.

@seanchin it is the name for the type of service that is due on the car. for example in 'Service A' they check the oil, brakes, air filters, etc. Each Service is different or nearly similar to previous services.

i REALLY recommend that you look into the E320 CDI it is a diesel which means you save on money for fuel PLUS you get a BETTER engine ( Has more torque, and very durable). In vancouver it costs about 25 grand

i JUST bought one! Got mine for 17 grand from Albuquerque NM and after import fees and other taxes and levies, it came about to 20 grand, because i brought it up to Vancouver.

Beautiful is the W211 chassis! Some minor issues with the USA version that mar the car compared to the Australian iteration: the unpleasant orange turn signal lamps installed in the front bumpers--there are already LED signal lamps in the mirrors and in the upper headlamps. The horrible triple bong tone on starting to prompt seatbelts. We get a subtle reminder tone only, when driving off, becoming more strident if you don't belt up. An awesome MB, becoming rarer with time...
