2005 Passat Vacuum Hose replacement

2 жыл бұрынMy 2005 passat is 16+ years old and had 155k miles. Some of the vacuum hoses were showing their age and I decided to grab some 3mm and 5mm vacuum hose off amazon to replace when I could get to.

Just to let you know.. that's not the vaccum pump.. its a vaccum reservoir. The Vaccum pump (also known as the Tandem pump) is behind the engine.. where you'll see the vaccum lines go to

Hello, I also want to change all the hoses from the vacuum pump and not only the one that comes from the egr valve, since the hoses were there, they must be the hoses to withstand the temperatures, right?

Anything silicone like I used in this video will outperform rubber hoses.

My Passat 1.9tdi shows the “emissions workshop” error code. I took out the EGR and it’s not clogged up, I don’t know what the problem is now

Possible the catalytic converter is clogged up

I have the same car, only mine is a Volkswagen Passat b5 1.8 turbo 20 v petrol, I think yours is a diesel, no
