This video helped me with my fuel pump replacement. How did you get your front plastics off without removing your handle bars?

With the headlight pod removed, and of course the fuel cap off, it's possible to flex the front cab assembly plastic enough to clear the handlebar. It's easiest with two people, but I did it by working one side then the other a few times to get the clearance. It also helps to make sure the "joint" area is a bit warm so it flexes easily.
