Күн бұрынTowards the end of the video I showed bending the lock washer tab over the clutch hub nut. The video clip showed one end of the channel lock jaws inside the bore of the transmission shaft where the clutch push rod comes through. This is not how I actually did it nor should you! Do not place anything inside the bore that may damage it. I bent the lock washer off camera and kept one of the channel lock pliers jaw on the outside of the hub locking nut flat and the other jaw on the bendable washer tab.

@@meechyfinesse7736 There will be a lot of resistance so bump the wheel in gear and see if it moves the engine a little each time. If the engine moves and you're lucky it may just be the kick stater mechanism that has an issue. All kinds of things could have happened. In the transmission it's usually a shifting fork that has failed and the broken piece has jammed up the gears.

Wow! That's a lot! Aftermarket or eBay? Maybe someone is parting one out? I know I wouldn't pay $180! I'd be more than annoyed at $90!

I have a rmz450 try to put in timing but wen I kickstart my piston move but my cams not moving

That's an odd one for sure! Crank gear for the chain spinning on the crankshaft or the chain is not on the crank gear?

Does the engine turn over or is it just the kick starter. You can put the bike in gear and use the rear wheel to see if the motor will move.

@@peteregger7928 if I pull the clutch in first gear and roll the back tire I’m moves but it’s some drag there

@@meechyfinesse7736 Virtually all bikes will have some drag with the clutch pulled in. That part is normal.
