Had random starting issues with push start on 2015 Civic. Would just do nothing except car ding and lights come on. Wait, Try again later and would do fine. Once starter turned over would start , no grinding or nothing. After 2 trips to Honda dealer they finally said thought (?) was starter. Had replaced vehicle battery under warranty earlier, key fob batteries and finally starter. After replaced starter it has done fine, but wow labor was not cheap! Looks like a pain to get to and replace....

Ya im having that issue right now . Wife was doing Amazon Flex out of our 2012 civic lx and parked in a parking space in the apartment complex she was delivering at 4 in the morning today and returned to a no start no crank I had to come out and check it out checked fuses checked battery at AutoZone nope bad starter tried hitting the old starter with a ratchet no go got the new starter but could not get the old one off have trouble with the 14 mm top bolt that dont want to budge had to leave the car there come back tomorrow after work see if I can get it out again. This sucks

most inconvienient way to have a strater in such an awkward place... currently working on that too.

is the starter in the same area on a 2013 civic ?

Every once in awhile my 2013 civic wouldn’t start right up. No click no turnover. I wait for 3-5 min and it will start no problem. You think its my starter starting to go bad. ? Thanks. Great video btw

you dont pull tire off you do from underneth ! Took me 45 min.
